Latner appointed Playtech legal counsel

Legal expert previously advised Playtech from the London law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner
Legal expert Alex Latner must have impressed Playtech as the online gambling company’s adviser whilst he was a 20-year veteran partner at the London law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner – the company has appointed him its permanent General Counsel.
Latner replaces David McLeish who departed Playtech last year, and will continue to give the benefit of his considerable experience in-house regarding corporate acquisitions, important industry transactions and legal disputes, liaising with his old law firm, which remains an adviser to Playtech.

Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
