Key Colombian Operator in Content Deal with Pragmatic Play

The regulated South American iGaming market is proving to be more and more of an important area for not only operators but casino game content providers, a fact not lost on Malta based Pragmatic Play, who have announced a content distribution deal with one of the leading online casinos BetPlay.co.

BetPlay who offer their customers a full service of iGaming products to include online casino games, poker, sportsbook, live casino and eSports, will now be able to offer players of their online casino the full suite of games developed by Pragmatic Play.

With players at BetPlay within the next few weeks being able to enjoy slot games to include their latest release Hand of Midas, Wolf Gold, and the highly acclaimed John Hunter series of slot games.

BetPlay is the online gaming arm of Corredor Empresarial, the country’s national lottery operator and one of the first to enter the regulated online space in Colombia when it first began to open up in 2017.

This agreement is a strategic move in Pragmatic Play’s expansion plan in Latin America, as BetPlay is one of the market leaders in the regulated country as well as the main sponsor of the National Football League. The deal strengthens Pragmatic Play positioning as it continues to grow across the continent at a fast pace since the debut of its continental hub last year.

Pragmatic Play’s VP of Latin America, Victor Arias, said: “Despite the relative youth of the market in Colombia, it’s rapidly evolving and commands a key place in our strategy for the region.”
