Habanero About To Ruffle Feathers

Features a telegraph wire instead of reels

Software developer Habanero is set to launch a new cross-platform HTML5 title "Ruffled up".
This innovative slot game features brightly coloured birds fluttering on and off an old-fashioned telegraph wire rather than appearing on spinning reels.
During gameplay the background changes as the story unfolds, while happy sounds and bright colors combine to shape an entertaining game that the company says is perfect for mobile.
The arrival of three or more Stormbringer birds triggers a new lightning feature as sunny skies turn stormy.
And besides paying in combinations, birds are hit at random by lightning for additional pays, which cause the other birds to get into a flutter.
"We're very excited about Ruffled up, which we'll be demonstrating at ICE next week," said Habanero chief executive officer Nic Ioannoy. "It's quite a different game compared to others on the market at the moment.
"As with all our content, it is developed in HTML5 to give a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Thanks to optimized coding, it still manages to cram in stunning visuals and 39 different sound files — approximately twice that of typical games."
