Gvc Holdings And Betfred Terminate B2b Platform Deal (update)

By mutual consent

A 10-year platform technology deal, agreed less than one year ago, between GVC Holdings and Betfred has been terminated by mutual consent.
In a joint statement the two companies noted that the decision to part company was "reached amicably, with no penalty clauses triggered by either party."
The termination of the deal, which would have seen GVC replace Betfred's existing GTECH online gaming and sportsbetting platform, will allow the companies "greater flexibility to develop their businesses going forward," the statement reads.
