Novomatic subsidiary Greentube, who are responsible for bringing Novomatic hit slots to life in the online environment, have just announced their casino game portfolio is now live with Swedish operator Svenska Spel.
The supplier’s classic land-based titles which have been adapted for digital channels, including the widely popular Book of Ra™ deluxe and Lucky Lady’s Charm™ deluxe, are now live with the operator. The Greentube Group’s online-only slots The Great Gambini’s Night Magic and Tidal Riches have also been seamlessly integrated through the NYX OGS platform.
Svenska Spel is a state owned operator in Sweden and for many years was the only licensed iGaming operator that was allowed to actively market their services in Sweden. This was before the start of the year whenregulation was loosened. Thus allowing other operators to apply for a license from Spelinspektionen, the Swedish Gambling Authority, who are responsible for regulating online gambling in the Scandinavian country.
Since the Swedish market opened up to other iGaming operators, Svenska Spel have continued to maintain their prominent position in the country and the partnership with Greentube, will further enhance their game portfolio. Whilst also providing Greentube with a great avenue into the Swedish marketplace.
Commenting on the deal reached with Svenska Spel, David Bolas, Greentube UK Commercial Director, commented: “The addition of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino as a key partner is pivotal to our localised market strategy in Sweden.”
“We believe Greentube content will greatly enhance the portfolio already available to Svenska Spel Sport & Casino players.”
Speaking on behalf of Svenska Spel concerning the take up of Greentube casino game content, Jonas Nygren, Vice President of Product Casino at Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, said: “Greentube has really strong titles in their portfolio that will strengthen our mix of already published games. Our customer base has been extremely engaged with their catalogue of games and we look forward to a longstanding partnership moving forward.”
