Gameaccount Launch Empire City Casino Online (update)

Desktop and mobile solution complement land-based business

On the back of disappointing results (see previous InfoPowa report), GameAccount Network (GAN) has announced the commercial simulated gaming launch for a previously unnamed US casino operator.

GAN has launched a website for Yonkers Racing Corp-owned Empire City Casino (ECC) of New York offering patrons titles from Konami, Ainsworth, Incredible Technologies and Multimedia Games.

The terrestrial operator now offers online visitors the opportunity to play free-to-play casino slots and table games via desktop computers and mobile devices utilising a dedicated icon on the Empire City website.

Integration with Empire City Casino's Empire Club Rewards program will allow customers to sign up online using their rewards membership information, reward point incentives are due to launch in Q4 2014.

A new marketing campaign beginning in the fourth quarter will support the launch of the new simulated gaming site.

Dermot Smurfit, chief executive officer of GameAccount Network said: "Enabling land-based casinos in the US to move online is a core part of our mission statement and our Simulated Gaming™ experience has been proven to increase patron visitation on-property and generate meaningful levels of income from a new online channel."

"As the demand for online gaming increases, Empire City Casino is pleased to be able to now offer an engaging online gaming experience as a complement to the unparalleled live gaming offered in our casino," added Timothy Rooney, Jr., General Counsel of Yonkers Raceway Corporation.
