Bridges gap between online and retail
Genting Alderney, in partnership with real-time platform provider FSB Technology (FSB Tech), has launched an online and mobile sports book at Gentingbet.com.
GentingBet was soft-launched in October 2013 with both desktop and mobile versions using FSB Tech's managed sports betting solution. The branded sportsbook is fully integrated into Genting Alderney’s new online platform and will allow it to further bridge its online offering with its retail presence of 44 UK casinos.
Gentingbet.com is the first operator to go live with UK Gambling Commission-licenced FSB Tech's managed service. The turnkey solution includes FSB Tech's proprietary live sports betting platform, real-time algorithmic pricing models and CRM tools for player segmentation and bonusing.
As the service grows, Genting will have the option to bring any of the individual services, or the entire operation, in-house. The sportsbook will be marketed to UK customers offering a range of pre-match and in-play betting markets across major sporting events including football, horse racing, tennis, boxing, darts, snooker and more.
Peter Nolan, Managing Director, Genting Alderney, said: "With the launch of Gentingbet.com, our customers have the ability to keep all their casino, poker and sports betting activity — both online and offline — under the Genting brand further enhancing our brand presence in the UK.
"It is both a fantastic opportunity and an amazing endorsement for us to work with such a well-established operator and to be selected as their sports betting partner. We look forward to helping deliver the best possible betting product to both their online and retail customer base," added David McDowell, chief executive, FSB Tech.
FSB Technology successfully completed an investment funding round of GBP 2.6 million just last week (see previous InfoPowa report).
