Fredrik Johansson appointed CEO at Fantasma Games

Fantasma Games Founder and current Chief Commercial Officer Fredrik Johansson, who we interviewed here on Casinomeister back in September last year, has returned to the role of Chief Executive Officer as the game studio targets significant growth in the coming months.

Established five years ago in 2017, Fantasma’s vision is “to create slots beyond gambling” and create the next generation in slots with an exceptional one-handed mobile gaming experience for slot players.

The Fantasma Games team has a wealth of experience in slot creation. This includes collaborating with some of the most innovative minds in gaming, therefore the company has a deep understanding of how to make a significant impact and be one of the leading lights of the industry.

Johansson returns to the top job with the backing of the developer’s largest shareholders who believe he is the best person to guide the studio into new markets, sign partnerships with more operators and oversee its busy game roadmap and production line.

As CEO, Johansson will be responsible for the day to day running of Fantasma Games and will also lead the senior management team. He will set the overall direction and strategy the studio takes to development with its ethos of creating slots beyond gambling.

It comes at an exciting time for the studio, which continues to create and launch narrative-driven slots that deliver a superior player experience.

Fantasma also recently made its debut in the US market where it has gone live exclusively with tier one operator BetMGM in Michigan and West Virginia via distribution partner Light and Wonder with additional state and operator launches to follow.
