22 South Koreans detained in raids on two villas

Cambodian police acting on a tip-off regarding online gambling raided two villas in the north western outskirts of Phnom Penh late last week, arresting 22 South Korean nationals accused of operating an illegal online gambling enterprise, and confiscating computer equipment and other evidence.
No further details were available when InfoPowa went to press Tuesday morning.
South Korean diplomatic officials in the capital were informed of the arrests and have been granted consular access to the defendants.
