Bodog Announce Hires In It

IT experts come on board to ensure longevity

Bodog has announced the appointment of Tom Hamilton, Simon Tarling and Clive Hibberd in an effort to strengthen the company IT team ahead of the World Cup 2014 and beyond.

Hamilton has taken on the position of Global Director of Architecture. He has worked with JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank and has gaming experience with IG Index.

Tarling, as Program Delivery Manager, brings 30 years of experience in the IT and technology industry including spending 4 years with LVS and a further two years with Wagerlogic and Amaya Gaming Group.

Hibberd has served as managing director at LVS and has experience in high transaction-rate systems, online payment processing and games development. He assumes the position of Head of Product Development, Sports at Bodog.

The company said it is "bracing itself for a huge summer of sport" which aside from the World Cup includes two golf Majors, the World Series of Poker, Wimbledon and the start of the European soccer seasons and the NFL.

Stefan Matthews, chief technology officer for Bodog Asia, said: "The enormity of this Summer has been well-documented but the key to making this season a real success is holding on to those players long-term. To that end we wanted to bolster our team for the near and far terms and I am confident these guys will help us do just that."
