Bluff Magazine Going All Digital

Poker publication's decision to end print version in February is a sign of the times

Launched in 2004 by well-known online gambling industry personalities, the print version of Bluff Magazine has been a mainstay in industry media but will shut down next (February) month.

The publication was acquired by US racing group Churchill Downs two years ago (see previous InfoPowa report) but a combination of a lack-lustre US and international poker market and changes in the way industry people consume their news has resulted in a decision to focus on the digital channel, using the company's online and mobile facilities.

Bluff has assured subscribers that they will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
