New "Deadly Gambling" game lets you play Russian Roulette with no permanent downside

Russian online games publisher Nikita Online is assisting Minsk-based games developer Oofsource to widen the reach of its new Russian Roulette game Deadly Gambling on the GameXP online network.
Deadly Gambling ( http://dgam.gamexp.ru/) boasts an intriguing mix of roulette mechanics with poker and PvP-components to create a virtual version of the infamous game in which opponents typically take turns in placing a single-bullet loaded gun to their heads and pulling the trigger.
Oofsource have developed this concept into an online wagering game in which players start by creating a character, and then enter a game lobby to select a virtual room, where they will find opponents and place their bets before starting individual challenges in which a single game session repeats five times.
Variables include misfires and false starts, and players can reload to play additional rounds. The developers have spiced up the original simple if fatal concept by designing-in opportunities to feed additional bullets into the gun on higher card hands in poker-blitz mode, along with a few special tricks to keep the game interesting.
The GameXP network boasts 11.5 million users, presenting a wide audience for Oofsource, an enterprise founded in 2011.

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
