Another in the Aussie company’s six-reel, muilti-ways to win series

The Sydney, Australia-based games developer Big Times Games has released its latest six-reel, 117649 ways-to-win online slot, a high volatility offering branded Starquest.
The new game follows earlier offerings earlier this year such as Twin Spin and Raging Rhino from the company, which was founded by Nic Robinson, the founder of New Tech Media, which he sold in 2005 to News Corp and subsequently merged with Orbis to spawn Openbet.
Teaming up with Openbet colleague Huw McIntosh, Robinson went on to launch his own development studio in 2011.
BTG has patented its Megaways system for six-reel slots creating 117649 ways-to-win, and now has an inventory comprising a dozen video slots, five reactors and four table games.
Whilst still focused on creating unusual slot games the company reporedly has ambitions to build its own online gambling platform at some point.

Brian Cullingworth

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
