Leo Burnett appointed international advertising strategy and creative lead agency
Swedish betting group Betsson AB has awarded its substantial international advertising strategy and creative lead contract to the London agency Leo Burnett, which has prior experience on commissions from Ladbrokes and emerged victorious from a competitive pitch for the Betsson account run by Agency Insight.
The award represents a departure from the usual Betsson practice of using multiple agencies, and instead consolidates all advertising and creative activity in a central account.
The first project with which Leo Burnett is tasked is the delivery of a digital-priority, high-engagement consumer strategy featuring the core Betsson.com brand and targeting the markets in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Peru and Brazil.
