Belgium Virtual Sports Subject To Time Constraints In New Framework

No more than 30 hours per month

Belgium's gambling authority the Kansspelcommissie has confirmed restrictions on the availability of virtual sports offerings in the Belgian market.
The vertical requires a Belgian license and virtual sports operators are required to limit the broadcast of events to a maximum of 30 hours per month.
Operators are required to provide a broadcast time list along with sales, revenue and profit information to the Kansspelcommissie.
The new framework is effective September 1, 2015.
