A New Kind Of Social Gambling Game

Spot the pixel is a novel approach

French online start-up Edenwin.com, a company based in Lyons, has soft-launched its first game which appears to have social gambling appeal. The full-on launch is scheduled for June 12, but fans can get a taste of the new offering on the company's website.

Describing its concept as simple but innovative, the company says that all that is required is that the player view an image in which a winning pixel is hidden. In order to find the winning pixel, the player must click in the correct place.

"This is not a game of chance as it requires discernment, accuracy and strategy," the company's founders Aurélien Dessales and Jérôme Viana, claim in a statement.

"For example, the player must determine the epicenter of a ball which was removed from the photo of a football match.

For a minimum bet of Euro 2, Edenwin offers a variety of prizes that include luxury vacations, dream shopping excursions and luxury cars.

The site offers two game types:

* Edendirect: potential to win immediate prizes worth Euro 5000 for Euro 0.5 per click

* Edengold : potential to win prizes of Euro 250, 000 over three weeks for Euro 2 per click

A dreamy pre-launch with the "Realize your dream" application

Edenwin has launched its "Realize your dream" Facebook application in support of the game, inviting Facebook users to post their dream in the hope of seeing it on the prizes list on 12 June, at Edengold's official launch.
