888 Holdings the parent company of 888 Casino have completed their acquisition of Mandalay from JPJ Group plc for £18m, which sees the group now own the Costa Bingo network brand. A move we first reported on last month, on the 19th February.
Just two days ago ( 12th March 2019 ), 888 announced their final year results for 2018 which saw the group revenue decrease by 2% to US$529.9 million (2017: US$541.8 million). B2C Bingo revenue decreased by 17% to US$32.4 million (2017: US$39.3 million) reflecting heightened regulatory scrutiny in the UK.
The company hopes that the acquisition of the Costa Bingo network and their associated brands, which forms part of the deal, will help the company turn around their fortunes.
Earlier this week, Casinomeister PAB Manager, Max Drayman, reaffirmed a player warning concerning 888 and their associated properties.
