Multiple award winning online casino 32Red is to exit the regulated Italian market, with 32Red.it closing on 30th November at the end of this month. Owners Kindred Group who acquired 32Red in 2017 for a financial consideration of £175m, have instead decided to concentrate on their Unibet brand in Italy.
A notice on the 32red.it website translated from Italian reads: “We are sorry to inform you that starting from November 30th 32Red will no longer be operational. It was a difficult choice to make. We hope, however, that these years spent together have been fantastic for you, as they have been for us.”
“We strongly recommend that you withdraw funds from your gaming account by November 29, as afterwards you will no longer be able to access the casino. November 22 will be the last day on which you can request the dish of the day.”
“Looking to the future, we recommend Unibet.it, our sister brand, which will guarantee 32Red.it players the warm welcome they deserve. On Unibet.it, leader in the Italian market, you will find a huge variety of slots, table games, Live Casino, bets and much more.”
“Plus, you’ll soon find your favourite Microgaming games. For any questions or clarifications please contact our Customer Service.”
32Red has been operating in Italy since 2012 and after the announcement of their planned launch in the country, former Chief Executive Officer Ed Ware at the time stated: “While we continue to focus on our core market of the UK, we look forward to utilising out Italian licence to expand the profile of the brand and to grow business in another regulated market.”
