Just six weeks after an anonymous UK ticket holder became the biggest ever UK lottery winner, scooping £170m playing the EuroMillions lottery, another lucky ticket holder hailing from UK struck gold last night.
Last night’s EuroMillions draw saw a ticket holder from the UK scoop the jackpot prize of £105m, with the numbers drawn being 8, 10, 15, 30 and 42 and the Lucky Star numbers were 4 and 6.
The draw for the EuroMillions which coincided with the UK’s own National Lottery’s 25th birthday, is certainly going to be a massive early Christmas present for the lucky ticket holder. With Camelot, the company responsible for operating the lottery within the UK, advising individuals who entered last night’s draw to check their tickets, to see if they are the very lucky winner.
Senior Winner’s Adviser, Andy Carter, said of the win: “On our 25th birthday, one very lucky ticket-holder has scooped tonight’s entire £105 million EuroMillions jackpot.”
“Players across the country are now urged to check their tickets to see if they have won big. ‘Tonight’s big winner has scooped the sixth EuroMillions jackpot banked in the UK this year.”
Last night’s win is also the fourth time in 2019 that a UK ticket holder has won a nine figure sum by playing the EuroMillions lottery. To further celebrate the National Lottery’s 25th birthday, a further millionaire was created in the UK by matching the Millionaire Maker code of ZMSF62402.
