Cheating software exposed

I am just as upset about the poor puppies!
Does this mean that next month we get to have a coming of age party complete with choice scant ladies and gents provided by pornhub casino? :D

Ok, serious now,

Wow! Look at the following:

-Cheating software exposed
-BGO voided my winnings...
-Your opinion on confiscated winnings...
-Casino.com not paying Cashback
-No Cardpay...
-Slotty Vegas payment delay
-Go Wild Payment delay (resolved)
-Guts don't bother responding to...
_IGT mobile BlackJack (with some ranting)

So...those are threads+posts in one page of recent posts!

It looks to the casual observer that problems are not limited to that group. Yikes.

Thanks Bryan - this is an issue that needs a lot more attention. There are more and more operators turning up with these ripped off games and ripped off games means zero security for players. I've now seen Microgaming, Net Entertainment, Novomatic and Playtech games that aren't original to the copyright holder. I've even had several operators try and claim that they 'didn't know' and that the software provider 'assured the games were genuine'.

Regarding Curacao Licensing - I'm not 100% on this, but I suspect that there are now more than 4 master license holders. Off the top of my head I can think of Curacao eGaming, eMoore, Curacao Interactive Licensing (CIL), Pearl Trust and Gaming Curacao. Another big issue with Curacao 'regulated' operators is that many Curacao licensed providers don't provide any means to know which master license holder they're subject to. From experience I've found eMoore and Gaming Curacao cooperative in the management of player complaints, though the latter I'm still waiting to see how effective their cooperation has been. As things stand, even if an operator happens to be licensed by one of the master license holders that may be willing to help, the majority of the time the player has no way to know that.

Regarding Curacao eGaming (formerly Cyberluck) - It's also worth noting that on the screenshot in the video they state "Curacao eGaming is offering specialised IP licensing options to previously licensed Montenegro Operators". This is a generalisation but my experience of the Montenegro licensed operators has been nothing but negative and several of the first operators we found running the ripped off games held licenses in Montenegro. It makes me very uncomfortable that Curacao eGaming are specifically targeting this market.

That's the problem. Who is giving this attention? Virtually no one. The reason? No one really gives a flying rat's ass. The only people who really care about this are a handful of websites like ours, and the players who have been ripped off - the ones who know they have been ripped off. There are probably thousands of players who had no clue they were being fleeced.

I agree that a big part of the problem IS affiliates, but it's not always that they don't care. Affiliates generally have a really backwards mindset when it comes to punting an operator. So many affiliates I've spoken to, when they stop working with a program immediately take down all content related to that program. The logic being that they no longer want to advertise the program. What they should be doing is changing the content to reflect WHY they don't want to work with the program. Fair enough if you've just decided to try someone new, or felt the removed program isn't converting/earning as well as you'd like, but where you're stopping working with a group because of dodgy practices like running ripped off games, confiscations based on vague rules, slow payment, retroactive changes to affiliate contracts affiliates should absolutely be changing their content to reflect the problems.

Giving away a little more than I should here but truthfully we get far better click through rates and time spent on site with our negative reviews than our positive. Admittedly it's not going to be as easy to convert this type of traffic, but that's where the affiliate needs to get creative. Rather than removing content and walking away from this traffic, embrace it and rank for terms you never would have before.

This issue is a perfect example of where site's like ours have had the playing field pretty much to ourselves for a long time (some longer than others ;) happy coming of age!) - it's time the rest of the affiliate community woke up and started flooding the rankings with negative reviews. Affiliates as an industry actually have far more power than they realise if they'd simply start leveraging it in the right way.
