YouTube - they did it again. Banning Slot Reviews

I don't mind Nick and Kim but the rest are a tedious watch. Like watching a robot stream as much depth as an egg cup.

I havent seen a casinogrounds stream in a very long time well over a year. I used to like nick until he was rude to his viewers, including telling me to fuck off for basically no reason just because he was on tilt.

never been in this david persons channel once. havent been to casinogrounds in at least a year. have zero to do with any of them

I like the streamers who dont slam affiliate links down your throat and tell people if they dont want to use affiliate links all you need to do is open it in another tab. May be bad business move but it sure is refreshing to see people not tricking people to click on this click on that deposit this deposit that. Just stream, laugh have fun with no angles

I stopped watching Kim when he started streaming in some office building or whatever it is. I thought him drinking with his friends in his little apartment was fun to watch. Now its all to corporate him sitting with his friends wearing suits and ties

My channel is still up including most videos I posted which are just videos of personal wins in free spin rounds.
That said I have given up on both YT and FB as they just suck really for affiliating, keep closing your account, banning content and closing personal pages.

I only use my website and Twitter nowadays for a bit of affiliating. Happy enough with those.

But that is exactly what Shirox does. He never promotes or mentions a link during his stream. From previous comments, you don't like him but he exactly fits the criteria of a streamer you would like.

At the end of the day, it is down to the personality of the streamer assuming that they use genuine funds. That personality will make or break the streamer financially. The bigger ones have worked hard to get to the stage where they can make a good living out of it and I for one applaud them. I wish I could do it!

As to Kim. I personally met him and have regular contact with him. He is a genuine kind generous person if you get to know him. He made a good living out of streaming admittedly, but is that really a bad thing?

Well my other criteria is not watching someone power spins 5-20 euro 5 hours a day either. Anything above $2 spins I dont watch because I cant relate to those. AND I was once sent to his stream from a host and he won like 5k and said "it could be better" and didnt care about the win, barely moved and kept on playing.

If I was into freebies and contests id hang around, he seems to have a lot of big and fun giveaways to entice viewers.

I think Kim is a very nice person. He didnt have to bring some of the people along like he has. Hes basically made most of those streamers what they are. He got his friend Reggie into streaming, brought slotspinner from 60 viewers and 80 cent bets, nickslots from 60 cent spins and now they all doing 5euro-20euro and more with tonnes of viewers. So good on him for spreading the love to his friends and giving them financial freedom. Kim was popular enough because he was there early and has a nice personality he certainly didnt need to branch out.

Its just personal taste for me. I like to watch the guys sitting in their house having fun, drinking a beer and hoping to win something that would excite them and mean something to them. Knowing most of these guys winning 5k wouldnt really mean that much. So takes away from being excited for others.

And Im sure my opinion wouldnt matter to a single one of them anyways. Losing 1 viewer is nada to them. Because for every viewer they lose im sure they gain that back over time anyways.

And btw when I was able to catch the odd stream of yours I enjoyed them and I hope you return. We can all use some of the smaller betting guys on twitch who show real emotion who really feels the ups and downs.

The "real" is back in town. :) That's if I can figure out everything and if can actually get it working. Just setting up and won't be till next weekend if all goes well and I don't lose too much Tuesday at the live casino.

As for me returning, that will not be until May. I blocked myself at all casinos via Gamstop back in May for a year as I was spending way too much time (and funds) on gambling. I haven't put a penny into slots since May and to be honest feel a lot better for it. I now spend so much more time with the people that I care for and love.

I don't watch Shirox all that often to know whether he does giveaways. It certainly is one way of attracting viewers for sure. I rather have loyal viewers that tune in irrespective of the free stuff myself.

The trend with most streamers appears to be the case that they start off with small bets and as the channel grows the bets increase. Streaming can be a good way to earn money and that money earned more likely than not is put back into the streams, hence the bigger bets. But at the end of the day, the bigger the bets, the bigger the gambling losses. As long as the losses don't exceed the affiliate income minus living expenses then crack on as far as I am concerned.

But I am with you regarding viewing big bet streamers. I can't relate to doing £20+ spin bets, so very rarely watch those streams.

With YouTube's policies over the past few months, a lot of that action has moved to Twitch. The Twitch Casino category is pretty toxic now.

I do keep an eye on the Casino category, and on a good day you would say 75% of those viewers are fake (viewbots or chatbots) and another chunk are real viewers being duped by fake streamers. Some of the recent Russian channels popping up have the trifecta - fake viewers, fake chat (bots re-purposing chat from other legitimate channels) and video content stolen from elsewhere... the only thing that is real are the affiliate links!

While Twitch do appear to be responsive to shutting these channels down when reported (the ones I've reported can disappear in minutes or hours), the barrier to entry is so low that they can create another set of channels the next day and play cat-and-mouse all over again. Furthermore it impacts the rest of the category as other streamers either feel the need to increase their stakes to compete (and further detach themselves from the "reality" of gambling) or succumb to the same trap of viewbotting or otherwise cheating the system.

Really sad to see. I just had this right after I uploaded my netent vikings win here. Someone reported me and unsubbed from me. I tried to find out who it was but not sure. Terrible to see such jealousy from someone I know.

Streaming and slog wins YouTube will always be a nefarious subject, the matter of how one earns a living this way is questionable at best, it's not all about jelously, far from it.
Many find affiliation wrong in any medium.

I use to enjoy the debates in the comment sections under youtube slot videos, Dazza G seem to have quite an easy going attitude to moderation which was commendable in my view and there was some very funny banter too, but other popular youtube channels would mysteriously only have 1 or 2 comments under their vids  so they must have been deleting posts, then again I suppose it could be very time consuming to read everything and argue issues.

I don't like the streamers who seem to be trying to sell playing slots as some sort of lifestyle idea, they're always laughing/joshing with their mates while they play whereas the reality for most is increased cursing and damage metered out to inanimate objects like keyboards and monitors.

I have been watching like streamers on youtube, I don't know how anyone can keep watching let's give it a spin jumping up and down high fiving his buddy everytime they hit something but he is a nice guy so don't get me wrong. :) Also been watching casino grounds.

Well I feel I need to interject a bit here with regards to CasinoRockstar and what @lockinlove mentioned.

I have moderated their channel for about a year and have personally met Anna and Emil during the ICE event in London (though Anna no longer streams for CR). CasinoRockstar categorically does not associate with any fake money play whatsoever. It's all 100% real funds. Anyone who has ever watched the stream will have seen that both Anna and Emil have always been transparent about the set up and that the stream owner funds most of the deposits, with the streamers getting 10% of any cashouts.

I would never EVER moderate for someone I believed to be genuinely fishy.

CR is a great, realistic stream.

:)
