Youtube banning slot streaming

Hi my post was about The Bandit only and his YT take down not dunovers ... just to clarify :)
Yeah, I was referring to the xxxxshtep above.

Yes, never been taken down as I'm not a streamer. I think the poster was predicting doom for the channel before it happens. I have noticed they've added an advice box to my channel when I upload now though and since then I have been careful about links. I can add my site fastpayingcasinos as much as I like as that is vetted and approved by YT and linked to the channel.

Yep, I believe they are going after channels which have affiliate links everywhere, within the video content and the description.

I watched some of the Bandits videos but he would ban anyone who wasn't kissing his ass. When someone constantly does gambles and comes out on top more often than not, you have to wonder if something is a miss as it's not really the typical result to be expected from playing these games. There do need to be some winners, but is it realistic that the same winner has a profitable session 9 out of 10 times? 8 Out of 10 times? 7?

I haven't been through every video adding up deposits and withdrawals/losses but I'm reasonably sure he's in profit going by some of the huge wins he had, and the rare times he would lose his deposit and then some.

If I see someone winning too much I can't help but wonder if anything is going on as it's just a constant encouragement to gamble, and often in the case of Bandit, tilt, then win all your money back and then some. It's a dangerous example to those who will try to emulate that experience for themselves, and there will be some. This is why simply putting a warning about gambling in your video doesn't quite cut out the next hour+ of influencing people to spunk their money on slots.

Saying that I hope his channel gets back up soon but I think YouTube need to do more to keep material like that away from users who try to avoid that content popping up in their recommendations and what not.

He was banned because someone wanted him banned mate.

I will admit I am a fan of the Bandit and I do follow his channel. I have seen no evidence of him asking for or taking donations.

To be honest, I think he is one of the more trustworthy channels out there.
He does take the responsible gambling thing very seriously. He will mention Gamban (which he has on his own site), and frequently preaches
to his viewers "only spend what you can afford" during his vids. He also has Gamstop and Gamcare on his Gamban page.

He also doesn't try to hide or gloss over the bad side of gambling. Many of his vids end in bustouts, sometimes more than one in the same video.
He also doesn't take bonuses (plenty of YT channels out there are owned by players/streamers who take bonuses that the regular punter like you and I would NEVER get offered in our lifetime).

I honestly find it a disgrace that he gets banned while people like NickSlots, CasinoDaddy, CasinoTest24 and Roshtein do not. Their vids are just pure clickbait.
He may be one of the good guys, I don't watch streamers so can't confirm or deny. I will say that yanking his channel away is seemingly under false pretences, with all the reasons cited.

I think YouTube will just use these loose interpretations to purge gambling content from their platform, so it doesn't matter how it's achieved, the end result is the same. We don't even know if they're being 'reported' anyway, these channels have survived for years and now everyone is up in arms about it, yeah right

Much like YT weeding out anything that doesn't fit into their narrative by labelling it 'extremist' or 'far right' material, that's been going on for a while now. 1984 is here everyone, enjoy!

So again it is less about protecting children from gambling it seems. I'd imagine YT will be a husk of a platform before long, it's not like content providers can't find other sites to monetize on

Great idea! I'm ordering my uniform as we speak, for my new slots channels "Goebbels' Gambles". Horst Wessel music in the background and the cat with a small rune on its collar. Yes.

Don't forget to add some of that Herr Flick magic

It certainly is, in my opinion, a group of people that are targeting all affiliate produced content on Youtube. A bunch of people that did their tits in gambling and are seeking blame other than on the person that looks at them in the mirror. Another reason is that there is an element of jealousy in play. They see streamers / video producers gambling a lot, something that they wish they could do themselves but are not able to do. They see people making a living out of a hobby (gambling) and wish it was them.

I stopped streaming and producing videos for a while now, partially because I was getting fed up with the nasty messages and violent threats.

It was only a matter of time before the Bandit was going to be targeted. He is a popular video producer but that isn't the point. Popularity doesn't come into it as far as these people are concerned. They want all affiliation banned on Youtube.

What could they report on though that gets them banned? Surely they can't just report that they are an affiliate and that gets them banned?

Just from watching youtube content from non-gambling creators it seems apparent that you can get banned at least temporarily on youtube for various unreasonable things such as getting spam reported for no real valid reason. Of course I have no idea if that's what's happening here but I think it's plausible. Pretty much all youtube comment sections on any slot related videos are incredibly toxic and filled with people who simply can't fathom how slots, casinos or affiliates work and gleefully spout their incorrect information and conspiracy theories as facts. These same people doing anything they can to hurt the slot channels wouldn't surprise me one bit.

I think YT's policy right now is shoot first, ask questions later :eek2:

I can't imagine there's suddenly more objection to gambling content than before, they're simply purging anything related to it.

Seems that anyone can report anything at the drop of a hat, rack up enough complaints and au revoir. Not to mention their 'Appeal' system is likely quite slow I'd imagine.....

I also think a lot is done out of spite as mentioned, YT won't have the time or inclination to verify every grievance, as long as the end result is the same

Content creators will just move on to different platforms. Youtube ultimately shoots in their own foot that way.
I'm not so sure, I think YT must feel pretty confident of their position, and they are really just a front for the 'global state', with unlimited cash behind them.

But then again so are the BBC and CNN etc, and people are turning away from them in droves, or at least I hope they are. :)

The BBC don't like to let go, just the other day for some ungodly reason we'd fallen behind with the TV License (strange, given it's by DD) by £2.50, and out come the threatening letters, bolded red font and everything

Sorry about that. Can't be missing crucial highlights like the Eastenders Omnibus now, can we? :eek2::D

I got a threatening letter from them, so I phoned up to tell them that I haven't watched television in many years, and the woman threatened me down the phone, about what would happen if they caught me watching it.

I just remained silent and gritted my teeth because I couldn't be arsed, but it made me angry. No other state agency would dare talk to people like that.

If i'd been in a more playful mood I might have teased her about the detector vans with the fake radar scanner on the roof, do you remember them 'scary' adverts? :)

I've found one:
