Hi everyone,

I have been a member of this casino (nameless for now) for a few years and am considered a vip player. It is a popular MG casino that holds accreditation here.

I have been having a particularly bad run there for a long time now so I emailed my host to express my frustration and mentioned that I was thinking about closing my account.

He obviously did not want to lose my business and kindly furnished me with a couple of bonuses asking me to reconsider - very kind but not really the point of this thread.

What troubled me was his reply to one of my emails when I was talking about my bad run over this long period.

He suggested that my bad luck was due to the platform on which i was mostly playing (mobile) and that i should switch to download/flash platform as the "payouts are higher"..

I would have thought that % payouts would be uniform over all platforms..

A very poor response from someone who should know better.

Confirming a long held "conspiracy theory" like this damages the reputation of not just the casino, but the software itself. This is probably a "marketing trick" to convince you not to close your account, but to try again on a different platform with a couple of bonuses on offer. You were supposed to believe it and try another deposit, not question it and make it public.

It's a shame Microgaming don't comment on this kind of misinformation so as to nip any doubt in the bud.

There has already been a number of people who claim the Flash version pays more than the download, and with mobile being in effect a "flash version", surely this statement from the VIP host is the complete opposite of a long running theory regarding game RTP on various platforms.

Fortunately, all these doubts should be resolved as for the first time MGS will have to give players the RTP for all their games under the new UK rules. I have already seen one such list, and it shows the SAME RTP for games that are on desktop and mobile.

Yep, agree with VWM - sounds like "marketing BS" to me.
Very disappointed to hear this coming from a CM Accredited casino :(
I hope you will name them later in this thread...
