Bad luck Azzurri, this type of thing can only happen on online slots. What bugs me sometime about how the slots layout are set is that most games have their bet size set at $3.00+ before you even start to play and as a low roller (in my case anyway hehe) practically every single online slot I play have to adjust the coin size, bet per coin to get it down my preferred bet size (0.30p-0.60p). I'm pretty much used to it by now but when I first started playing when I was relaxing with a few drinks I would make the occasional mistake and sometimes be betting $3.00 instead of 0.30p because I was not careful.
Just last week I made the mistake of betting $9 per bet on some slot instead of 0.90p and though I only had $20 in balance that was 2 spins worth and before I knew it I was down to $2.00 lol. Also on the odd ocassion because I never use autoplay and I click every spin I have accidentally clicked the max bet button a few times and as far as I know I have never won on any of those accidental bets - its as if the game is like 'oh you want to x10 your bet? thank you!' and takes my bet size increase as a generous donation to the game or something.
At least you got $25 back it is better than nothing as they have it in their right to not give you anything at all because they can't tell if it was a mistake or not - even if your play history is to low roll how would they know just for that one single bet you decided to bet super high? If I was the guy who had to make the decision to give your money back or not I would check your history and if you were honest (which I believe you were but really comes down to their own personal judgement on honesty and there is lots of room for interpretation) I would have given you the whole thing back or at the least given you back the $90 as bonus money that required a WR.
Anyway its an expensive mistake hopefully that casino can overlook it if you are a regular loyal and paying customer to their business.
EDIT: If I had made this mistake and somehow won instead, 100% I would keep the money without feeling guilty too. Its not that I deserved it but I won it gambling which is all the same whether its 0.30p or $300 bets in my opinion and I would treat the $90 bet as a 'I didn't know what I was doing but it worked' moment.
