Hi Its been a while since I have posted...

I miss Microgaming so much. I was a long time player from 2001 and stopped for a while after we could no longer Microgame.

Anyway I started playing again at High Noon recently...after playing there several times in the last few weeks...I feel super beat up. I dont remember bonus rounds being so rare and when finally hitting bonus round after bonus round winning ZERO or just a few dollars on $1 bet. It seems SUPER rare to leave a game with more than you went in with.
Now I could see if it paid a little out at a time on every few spins but you can go 20 spins on a 25 line game without winning even your bet back then FINALLY hit the bonus round and win $5!?? Is this the norm now?

My last deposit with the bonus gave me $100 to play with and in doing .50-$1 spins...never got one single bonus round...the hundred before that I hit 2 bonus rounds ...after spending $60 I won $40 then never won more than $5.

So my question basically is ...is the on going big bonus' that they offer whats hurting the chances of winning/playing longer or small wins that keep you playing longer? I dont mind losing money I really dont...IF I can say I had fun. But it has just felt like an uphill battle from the get go. You cant kick back and relax and play for a while anymore it seems. Its been a long time since I have played...is this the same everywhere pretty much? OR is it that there are less people playing so less money going in? I miss the excitement of the highs and lows.

Maybe my mind set when I go in needs to be that if I deposit $50 I may get $50 spins instead of thinking $50 will be a few hours of fun?

I tried lowering my bets and the bonus rounds/payouts were even worse.

So is it this casino or is it just the way it is when you are not a microgamer anymore? ;) OR is it a high roller world now?

Would love to hear your experiences or any casinos that do pay out enough to have some fun play time.

Thanks so much!

Hi Wanda,

I don't play at High Noon but I do play at their sisters, Club World, Manhattan Slots, Buzzluck, etc.

For me, these days, well the last few weeks anyway, have been about as you describe. Small Hits,

very few and very far between. And, in my circle of friends that play them, the stories are about the

same. I have cut my deposits way down because of it. Now, I make smaller deposits and figure if I

can build on it, fine, if not................ that's the way it goes.

Good Luck!

my best experience withdrawing from 1st to last was

1st - grand virtual (more cash out)
2nd - rtg
3rd - rival
4th - microgaming (hard hard hard to win)

My luck has been horrible since I won the 3k at lucky club. Since then I have out about 4k back in, tried Buzzluck over time, have about 3k in there and never cashed out...thru time almost 4k and never cashed out...3dice has dine nothing for me lately. Honestly they all have been the pits! I miss MG so much :(

Thanks Y'all, I really love to play but ever since things got sticky I am so leery. I ALWAYS check here first no matter what.

I remember Microgaming before the viper software....I watched it grow into a monster of a gazillion games MG will always have my heart.

I know it wasn't always great...but man these other casinos...I am spinning falling asleep with no wins telling them "c'mon nothing has to be this mean, i'm not ready to be finished yet!!" lol

I was feeling really lucky today ...went to the grocery store and bought a new dust pan and broom...the dust pan had a handle on it, ya know so you dont have to squat down (lazy way) ...anyway just as my son tried to grab the bag with the cookies in it, I had set the dust pan down on the ground and a glass jar of picante sauce fell out of my sons bag and hit the dust pan BREAKING to pieces but not a single part left the dust pan...it was amazing lol So I thought for SURE this would be my lucky day!!
;) apparently I pushed my luck.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with me!

I miss MG soooooooooooo much too...Everytime I look at screenshots and see all those MG games I just want to cry...And I do!!!

I had a couple of cashouts at Club World and one at Buzzluck for 1,000.00, but then put back probobly 4,000.00 and nothing..I deposit everyday (even thought I definitely should not)..

I have been playing at CWC, Buzzluck, High Noon and it has been pretty bad, but you never know..
And of course 3Dice. I love 3Dice , but have been on the longest, most horrible losing streak there..
I am like you, I don't expect to win everytime, but just give me some play time, please...

I saw someone posting about 5dimes so I made a deposit there earlier today..They only have a few slots, but I thought 'why not'. I made a 50.00 deposit and I am up to 300.00, I am sure I will play it all back, but thats ok, at least I am getting some play time...

Don't give up, you never know when it is your time....I find that if I am lucky on one game I tend to be lucky on several at the same time...Crazy...

When we were cut off from Playtech and MG (and decent MG bonuses and promos) and basically everything but RTG .... my gambling 'fun' and cashouts went down the toilet.

MG is just as much of a money sucker as the rest, seems to me to have gotten worse in the last while and like numerous post about RTP you just dont know what the true number is, I get missing the games, but think you are better off, just my opinion. (And MG is my preference so no hate here towards the software)

.

I have seen quite often that US people are missing Microgaming. But I was just wondering what about Playtech. Quite seldom I see US people say that they miss Playtech. Didn't you guys play Playtech back then or is it just because you don't miss them hehe?

I mentioned Playtech... and I miss it, too. Loved their dime 4 hand VP... and their slots, too. *sigh*

What eating up US players is fees, high WR, max cashouts, phantom bonuses, and for those of us who never ever hit a RJ at RTG, very low payout percentages.

I feel exactly the same and its true when one game is hitting...THEY ALL ARE hitting or nothing. I wish I would stop when nothing is hitting but I think I am too optimistic lol

I hear you Wanda...If only I would stop when I see the games are dead...But no, I still make my donation..And I am sure I will make one today..Just have to decide who to throw my money at..:p

I don't think I ever played playtech, if I did I can't remember. I wish I could now. I like the variety of the MG games so I miss them. Made another donation last night...$40 to 3 dice, $50 to lucky club, and $40 to inetbet and nothing...again. I can rarely double the deposit, the casinos have been horrible for me ever since the win I had in June. I ask myself sometimes why I keep contributing.

Since I am also no longer able to play MG I have given all the other Softwares a go... A GOOD Go...

Nothing seems to be worth it IMPO... I sometimes sit and play for literally thousands of spins and struggle to break even.

I miss MG just as much as the rest of you. I have had some luck on NetEnt only for the next NetEnt to take triple what I won. 85 - 86% RTP is very common everywhere I play.

I think I am only ahead at 32Red, PaddyPower, Sloto and Redbet...

Nordicbet / Triobet / Betsson /Comeon / Unibet / Casino Euro / Inetbet / All of ClubWorld / Betfred, Boyle, 3Dice, Rival .... I could go on... Losing horribly on every one.

Once I got ahead at Sloto I was promptly bonus banned... Not entirely, Just don't qualify for anything 100% or higher... Its a pity because ClubWorld got everything and my deposits are down 99% at Sloto....

Apart from Nordicbet and Betsson comp points don't exist at other Netent Casinos. You need to lose $3000 (Coupled with that $3000 being wagered .... maybe 10 - 15k ) to get $10 where its offered... Netent doesn't offer bonuses like 32Red or RTG... So yeah you get the odd bonus but loyalty is really not recognised at most NetEnts.

Well some RTG's have bonuses and others phantom bonuses but the variance is very high... It takes $400 to get back $100 UNLESS you have one in a 100 lucky run  .. You get free chips but good luck withdrawing on them...

Playtech offer bonuses but like Betfred some places are STICKY and the Marvel Slots seem to have a mission of their own... Horrible most times.

I won a fair bit on all Softwares and had some big hits but my best sessions have always been at MG... 32Red in particular... I so wish I can play again... Feel like quitting altogether - Maybe I'll start again when MG offers their games to the barred jurisdictions.

So as you can see... Been around the block but nothing is currently substituting for MG...

Micro-gaming has been like that for a while now, it's one of those were you know deep down your going to deposit and within the 30-60minute mark you'll be bust out. I'm sure there are many people on here that would agree when I say in the last few years MG software has just not played the same as it used to. In my last £150 spent at MG casinos I also have not hit the bonus round once, on a game called immortal Romance I hit the bonus feature 5 times (Wild Vine) in one session with no paypout at all! Now that is what I call strange!

Anyway, I decided today to try Paddy Power Casino, Playtech software, and straight away I hit a bonus, then was up on my deposit. I had a good session, enjoyed the game I played and then came away a very happy chappy. So I would recommend Playtech if your wanting a good long session out of your deposit :) Of course MG can have some good hits but they are hard to come by and very easy to end up bust within a short period of time.

Wanda, I don't know how you feel about Rival, but if you were a Slotocash customer back in the day, you can play Slots Capital (they have only renamed it) and they are accredited here.

It's been a couple of years since as a Canadian I could play Rival, but I used to enjoy a lot of the games, but not familiar with the newer ones at all.

There are some Rivals taking new US signups, I'm sure you can find some threads about them.

While I do play RTG some, I've never experienced a whole lot of luck there with the slots, so I play way less than I did at one point.

You may not have posted lately, but I do remember you and are glad to see you back. Your love affair with Mega Moolah provided me with one of my most fondly remembered CM posts.

I think there are some rose-tinted spectacles being worn with MG.

I've been quite upfront with my opinion that their slots don't roll like they used to, and a few weeks ago I completely uninstalled every MG casino off every PC in the house and I haven't spent a penny playing MG since, and I'm doing better as a result.

Now whether or not people agree with my assessment that the behaviour of their slots has changed, one thing that's certainly true is they're almost exclusively releasing high variance slots these days - which are fine if you hit something big, but on a bad run they'll destroy you, even low-rolling.

Finally, I think a lot of their slots are poor, I really do. The Dark Knight is a dreary, boring slot, as was LOTR before it - for starters no one has any idea how much is being given over to the progressives, but it's certainly reducing the RTP of the base game, and then you've got a high variance base game with a lower RTP than you'd want, so they pad it out with a load of pointless win animations and flashy graphics which get very tedious, very quickly, and pay pathetic amounts like 0.5x-5x stake.

Seriously overrated IMO!

I will have to check out Rival...I was a hardcore MGer so the other names are totally unfamiliar to me so thank you...and I can not believe you remember my Mega Moolah thread...that was so much fun!!! Ahhh the good old days...
I am so glad Casinomeister is still around. Its always felt like a very safe cozy place for me...glad to see so many old friends still here too!

First of all, you need to understand that all slots, and I mean all, the slots at RTG software are of high variance though for some they are medium variance some of the time. There is no guarantee that any slot will give you a bonus round even if its listed as low variance like Prince of Sherwood. vWith a bankroll of only $100 no wonder you are badly bruised. I suggest that,to get some playtime you lower your bets to $0.20/0.25 instead. You should also not expect a feature that comes after 300-400 spins to yield a great return . With MG, after you endure a barren spell the feature, more often than not,a feature gives you something to shout about. Not the same for RTG I am afraid.

BTW, I understand that you cannot lower your bets to 0.2/0.25 at High Noon. They start with 0.4/0.5. I recommend switching to Club World instead. Though its the same group they allow you to bet at 0.2/0.25 and they have a lot of promos recently. I believe they have a promo today where you can claim 3 coupons of the same for another $25 free chip later. So you claim a 65% bonus 3 times depositing $20 and get a free chip. In total you get $124 for depositing only $60 which should give you some playtime. If you get up to say $150 on any of your deposits or free chip cash out and you will emerge with a small profit. Depositing in smaller chunks for a bonus with less playthrough poses you at lower risk if and when you hit big just once.

And there was good advice from the Big Blue there...
First, steer clear of the jackpot slots...the expected return will include the jackpot and be lower than other slots.
See... the thing is... if you play RTG slots... you're playing a slot with a jackpot. And if you never ever hit a jackpot.... well....

Anyone remember when casinos posted their overall payout percentages (most on their website?)? Some were averaging 98% or better.... Bet it's nothing like that at most (even MG) now.

I have no rose tinted glasses. Things have changed greatly in the last couple of years. MG casinos twist and convolute a wonderfully simple Clearplay system for keeping up with your bonus play. Take one too many bonuses (no guidelines as to exactly what or when that is but the casinos know it when they see it) anywhere and no more bonuses.

I didn't play bonuses a lot back in the day, but when I did I never touched anything less than 100 - 150% and I think back then we had 20x WR on slots. Also we had NETeller or other ewallet so no huge fees to move money from one place to the other. What we deal with now is being 'in the hole' before we even play.

I love all the Rival Winner Screenshots contributions - they always look like good fun.

For some reason though, whenever I've briefly flirted with any Rival Casino - I just don't trust them. This is not based on any bad experience specifically or whatever - I just don't trust them. Just something a bit... I dunno, amateurish? about the interface etc...

I'm probably doing them a terrible disservice and they've probably come on loads in the last few years.

Mind you. I don't really trust RTG or Playtech either for no good reason other than my own personal illogical bias based on no personal experience.

I think I have trust issues.

How is Intercasino.com these days - have they pulled out of the US? That's a big shame if they have. They are about as solid as it gets and the games are ace.

All the Netent stuff finally. Super, massive, hugely impressed with Mr Green so there you go.

Worst post ever Slotster! - Well done.

I have not played at High noon for awhile. Never had much luck with them in the past. I played with other CWC's this month and got lucky at Aladdins Gold. The other casinos were not to generous with the pay-outs. Overall I do like CWC's. It's one of your better choices if micgogaming is not an option.

I hear ya! I feel exactly the same. I wonder if there will ever come a day when we see a new casino called "Casino Meister" ? THAT, I would LOVE to see! So how about it B...you seem to be the one we all trust...no pressure ;)

I'm pretty sure they were one of the first to pull out after George W signed the UIGEA back in 2006...
I think Inter withdrew from the USA late 2006 or very early 2007...?

That was a tragedy IMO - they are now just a very thin shadow of their former selves :(
Just go to Winner Screenshots pre 2007 & see how many Intercasino shots there were then. Not worth looking post 2007 - it's like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack...!
