I've been thinking about this since it was posted, and I think, unless it was a clear error, then I would probably take advantage, depending on the casino. Firstly, how do you know whatever exploit you find isn't part of how the game is supposed to payout? More importantly, how do you find out? I've emailed 3 game providers over the past couple of years, all of them twice, about concerns something was wrong with a game. No reply. I've also emailed one major provider 3 times, alerting them to sites running pirate games. No reply. While some reps might help if it was at say L&L, Videoslots, Casumo, LVBet (for example), the time and hassle it would take at somewhere like Coral, I wouldn't even bother trying to explain. Coral in the last month have lied to me more than once about the RTP so why would I want to try to alert them of an issue in my favour, when they lie about something not in my favour? Basically, treat me like shit, I'll do the same back. If however, I found it at L&L I would test it a few more times, PM Jan, asking him to remove my balance and send a video of the exploit so he could remove the game.
I honestly think it comes down to trust. If I respect a casino and like them, then I wouldn't take advantage, if I have no respect for them, then I would probably take them for £500 or so a few times a week, so not to make it obvious and get caught
I like to think I'm honest, if I find something I always try to get it back to it's owner, would never steal from anyone, and even when I've found money in the street, if I couldn't see who had lost it, would either buy some homeless guy something to eat/drink, or donate it to a charity. Having said that, I do take advantage of price errors sometimes when they occur, so I suppose that is cheating really.
When I used to hang round in arcades in the early 80's, used to flick 2p's up the coin return to get games for 2p (1p a lot of the time) rather than 10p, and there was an original Space Invaders in a large burger take away next to the counter, that if you touched the drinks dispenser, used to give 99 credits had hours of fun on that haha.
