yeah i tried that one too, because of promo in question. First time i hear about it too. Didnt get a chest though but considering its just a copy of their only good game (for me anyways), vikings go wild its not too bad of a promo really.
i did try some of their other games too but amount of dead spins you get is unreal and payouts just dont feel good enough for such a high variance slots. I mean i can live with dead spins on DoA, BDBA, Reel steal, etc because i know those slots can, and do pay anything ranging from x100 to 5000x. And then you have yggdrasil games where sometimes full line of wilds pays like 10x - 20x if that much so yeah i suppose i just cant get used to playing a slot that behaves like super high variance game, but pays out like low variance ones, most of the time anyways.
other than that i do like their slots presentation and i believe how their designers are doing great job with newest releases. Long story short, if i were playing slots purely for entertainment purposes id be playing their slots mostly, but since i actually dont mind winning a few $ here and there i rarely (read almost never) play yggdrasil games anymore and even if i do its only one or two of their slots and thats it.
The variance of their games is a little weird. Comparable to a game like Reel Rush maybe. You hit the feature more often but the basegame pays mostly rubbish and the features are piss-poor too most of the times. You won't hit 1000+ hits too but on a good day you will hit multiple 100-500x which the high variance games you've mentioned usually don't pay. They either pay nothing or colossally (is that a word?
) .
For all that super high variance DoA has, ive had countless sessions without my balance going either up or down, and more often than not it will give you enough small wins to prolong your session, even without any big, or even semi big wins at all.
