XXLclub casino disappears with players' money!

With only a couple of them that are good ie those with the "Bet" prefixes, it is likely that the ratio will be pretty close to RTG. My personal opinion is that XXL did not mean to go 'rogue' from the beginning unlike Indio or African Palace. The fact that Playtech did not cater to USA customers any more dealt the casinos a heavy blow and those without financial clout were doomed as the deposits from players fizzled out. It may be worth noting that the 2 "Bet" casinos I mentioned are linked with reputable sportsbooks and are given solid financial backing and steady cashflows.

The toughest part has yet to come and I think that we need to see a drastic cut in the number of casinos, whether they be MG, RTG or Playtech before things level out. Maybe, and just maybe, the tax rebates could provide the casinos who accept USA players with a temporary injection of funds.

Don't wanna necro, but have a look at the new XXL Club site:

Amazing. The installer is from a site called Club888ya (must be the same owners, lame name too), they use XXL Club's graphics/artwork in their website but they don't have a single reference to any payment provider, software or license.

Anyone still waiting for their money? (I think I'm the only one who got paid there :/)

Isn't he the bloke who invented Baked Beans...?

lol...and ketchup! Seriously though, when you click on recent site activity it shows latest site modifications under that name. The most recent of these is in Aug 2009, so it's almost as old as this thread! Makes me curious what the download is though - virus? whitelabel? virtual casino? all three?

I bet this is one of those fake landing pages beloved of spammers. Ones such as "Reel Vegas" that downloads Royal Vegas or Ruby Fortune.

Now we need some spam that connects to that site, and then we might have the name of the spammer, unless he lied to Google;)

This probably came to light because the original domain used by XXLClub lapsed, and this person discovered it was freely available, and had it for himself. It is also possible that this is a member of the original team behind XXLClub, and is now using the domain name to market a different site, knowing that the original domain IS going to be indexed in search engines because of all the past troubles, and is therefore better than picking a new name.

It also indicates that the site offered for download is itself likely to be of the rogue persuasion, because this is the kind of marketing it condones.

At least XXL Club left something to commemorate it in the cyber space where everythig is so uncertain and unabiding. This page is like a statue. :D
