WSOP SEATS AT PLAYER ONLY.COM EVERY WEEK

$12 000 World Series of Poker sponsored prizes

Players Only.com has budgeted an impressive $150 000 for a new series of tournaments in which a World Series of Poker sponsored seat worth $12 000 will be won each week for the next three months.

The twelve weekly World Series Giveaway Tournaments that begin this weekend and continue through to the WSOP will take place each Sunday, beginning April 8th. PlayersOnly.com will host a multi-table Texas Hold Em tournament and, each week, will award a $12 000 World Series Prize Package to the winner.

Players can win free seats at the Sunday night playoff in a series of qualifying satellites throughout the week or buy-in for $100.

The weekly $12 000 prize package includes airfare, accommodation and enough cash to register in the ultimate poker tournament, the World Series of Poker Main Event, which will be held in Las Vegas July 6 17 at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

There are five ways to get a seat in the Sunday night tournaments: win one of the Free Roll Satellites held twice at day at PlayersOnly.com; avoid the Free Roll crowds by entering a Sit n Go Cash Satellite; or win one of several daily multi-table cash satellites.

There will also be special Gold Chip Satellites for regular players that have earned Gold Chips loyalty points.

Only one can walk away with the WSOP seat prize each week, but the site is also making available a special $12 000 weekly award for those who don't succeed but still want some $100 buy-in action.

The 2007 World Series of Poker $10 000.00 buy-in main event is by far the biggest, most populous and prestigious poker tournament of the year. Last years winner took home $12 million and this years prize pool could be even bigger.

But... I thought Harrah's has nixed 3rd party sign ups -- especially from online casino/poker rooms?

There's more than one way to skin a cat, and I'm sure the online poker sites (several of which are running WSOP seat promos) will have found ways around the ban - even if it is as basic as paying the player the money and letting him (or her) register independently.
