Wordpress plugin security issues

    I just received an email that a couple of very popular plugins had security issues, here's a link to a couple of the articles:

    If anyone is using wordpress, check your plugins, if you've got W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache, update them ASAP.

    Makes me wonder if any of those 'hacked' sites from that other thread are running wordpress....?

    oh thanks, I didn't see your post, maybe because it was in the webby section. :p

    Funny they said this has been out there for over a month already and lots of sites are affected - It was actually my HOSTING company who sent the email about it.

    One good plugin you have to have installed if using Wordpress is Wordfence. Not only does it notify you whenever someone tries to access the Wordpress Admin backend, it also notifies you when plugins are out of date and need updating.
