Dear Casinomeister,

This is a issue for you and if someone can help me, it would be you!!! This story is so crazy to me and I am endless frustated.

I haven't been able to sleep a wink for a few days.

I won 55,000 EUR at the online casino "Casino Secret" with 2 deposits of 300 EUR at the live casino.

I then tried to withdraw the money but the maximum amount to be withdrawn was limited to 5000 EUR.

The verification was done and then it was said that a >>>gamecheck<<<< was requested by the provider and it will still takes time with the payout.

Then I submitted about 10 payment requests a 5000 EUR.

And now comes the tragedy: I used the cancellation function and lost one payout request after the other.

At least I had about 30 withdrawal cancellations.

Now I wonder if the casino wouldn't have to prevent a player from acting so irresponsibly. I cancelled several payments within a day and the casino did not respond.

I've now read that many casinos see the feature of canceling payments against fair play and don't offer this at first.

Also, at the beginning, Casino Secret had both: deposit limts and losing limits. Meanwhile there are no loss limits tools in this casino availbale. I wanted to protect my winnings with a loss limit but the casino didn't ask me to.

Normally, the casino would have had to react and protect me from my STUPID handlings because of its own due diligence duties regarding their customers. That's exactly what the casino has done now. They have blocked my account now.

Dear Casinomeister, if you can do somehting for me/mediate between me and the Casino and the Casino offers me a consolation or goodwill payout, I will donate a huge amout to several chartibale organisations . I don't expect all of my winnings because it's due to my stupidity, but at the other side, casino has delayed my withdrawls. I played for 10 years online casinos and this was the first time in my life winning such a huge amount.

This is endless frustating to me .....

They aren't going to.give you any of it back I'm afraid.

That is indeed the tragedy because I'm afraid there is nothing I nor anyone else can do to help you. We can't control your actions at the casino, only you can do that. While it may have been very poor customer service for the casino to drag their feet on your withdrawals they didn't make you play your money back. You did that and the results are yours to live with. I'm sorry if that sounds overly harsh but it is the truth and it is the bottom line here. There's very little more to be said.

Yet another 21bet-type casino. Claiming MGA licence but runs only Microgaming under that licence, the rest is under whatever they like.

Games seem legit, well at least Netent and Play'n GO. Didn't bother checking any further.

5K withdrawal limit looks low. Keeping it pending is normal stall tactic.

Learn from the experience and do not reverse again, ever.

Oh dear, if you reversed and played it all away I am afraid it is gone mate.
You just should have kept withdrawing 5k every week.
It is bullshit this day and age to have a 5k limit weekly anyway but hey that is a great way for people who won big to play it all away again.
I never ever won an amount close to that of yours but I have won amounts up to 5k, once I hit that WD button it will remain there until I have been paid out. Reversing a WD is the worst thing you can do.

If you still feel the need to gamble just make a new deposit and maybe at a different casino.

I genuinely don't think I would ever play slots again if this happened to me, reflects how brutal gambling can be at any given time. Please learn from this massive error in judgement and should you ever be fortunate again to win big, then take time out if you cannot lock the withdrawal as at least you won't be tempted to throw it all back again.

Dear Casinomeister, if you can do somehting for me/mediate between me and the Casino and the Casino offers me a consolation or goodwill payout, I will donate a huge amout to several chartibale organisations .

Why not just ask the to Casino to donate the money straight to the charities you had in mind? Seems like a waste of time to have the money go through you if you're planning on donating it anyway.

Normally i would criticize the casino for slow withdrawals etc. But from what i am reading the max withdrawal is 5000 at a time and you tried to do 10 withdrawals of that amount and so they kept cancelling them which obviously they would as that is 50000 at one time.

So you played it all back.

No wonder you are gutted i would never forgive myself if i did that.

I know how bad you must be feeling but in this case i do not see what the casino has done wrong. You are the one that cannot control your gambling and blew all the money rather than waiting and sorting it out. I am afraid noone can help you get the money back as harsh as it may sound this is all your own fault.

Personally i feel it is yourself that should be seeking help to give up gambling as anyone that blows that sort of money should seriously give up gambling before they end up in serious trouble.

50k would sort so many things in life for me. I really really struggle to see how anyone after such a big win would carry on playing, Not like you would win another 50k so why keep playing?

as others have said after that i would never play again as you will never repeat the win.

Nono, *he* cancelled them.

I used the cancellation function and lost one payout request after the other.

Nono, *he* cancelled them.

Thanks but that is even worse. I know he feels so bad but just cancelling and blowing that much is crazy. No wonder he is trying to find away to get help to get it back. I seriously do not know what i would do if i blew that sort of life changing money. I seriously think it would drive me crazy and i would do something stupid.

That's very unfortunate but there's nothing anyone can do here. I'm not sure how I would even try to place this but I can understand you haven't been able to sleep...

Atleast I hope you learned a valuable lesson here, if you're going high stakes make sure to read the T&C's of the casino or get in touch with a VIP manager before you start playing to make sure you are verified immediately and can get a large sum out in one fell swoop.

But to be honest it would probably be much better to self-exclude everywhere and never gamble again because you're never going to repeat this and are going to chase the dragon losing even more than those deposits for a total of 600 euro.

I wish you all the best.

Gutted for you mate. That's a lot of money to win & then lose. Unfortunately the money's gone now if you reversed it & played it through. I guess all you can do is draw a line & try to move on from it now.

My mate did something like this in Vegas 20 years ago. Won nearly $6000 playing blackjack, went up to the room saying he will keep $5000 and use the $1000 for the rest of the trip. Next evening it all went.

Nothing can be done for the OP, as most said, other than learning from this.

As for "how this happened", it is very easy. If it wasn't the highest TRTP on online slots would be 50%!

While waiting, the player remembers how good it felt winning. Feels invincible. Wants that feeling again.
Just 5000, there are 50k more so its ok. More is better always, maybe even buy a house with 50k more.
Should be easy.......

And then it starts, losing, upping bets and the 5k gone. Still feels ok, no problem, the next 5k will win it back and win a lot more.....
Because the player still feels invincible.....

Soon though 5k are gone and then 5k more. Panic starts but the player can't accept the defeat, can't accept that such a huge mistake was made......
Must win that 15k back, must win it back at all cost, must win it all back no matter what.....

First step to protect yourself is to understand how easy it is to lose even 50k.
Then read all the useful articles in CM about RG tools and managing your gambling.
Then never ever cancel a withdrawal!
Then set your own system to protect yourself.

Thank you for all replys both, the negative and the positive. Nikantw described it perfectly how I lost everything. The intention of my post is not to find someone who is guilty of what happend. Maybe we all can learn something from this issue, player als well as casino.

As something bad happend like this, the Casino could show up some goodwill. Why is this so unrealistic?

My opinion is that a reliable and good casino simply do not offer cancelation of withdrawls. That's it. The cancelation option feels like the casino thinks "hey player we don't want to pay you out, so here is your money again and play with it, play with it until you lose it all!!!"

This is going to sting for quite some time, I've been there, maybe you should take a look at taking a rest from playing, I realize this is unwelcome advice but the reality is you have an issue with controlling your gaming.

It's sad really, but happens so often. Hopefully one day soon casinos will not have the option to leave these withdrawal requests open to cancellation/playback. It really is preying on problem gamblers and that is exactly why it's unethical.

The only real thing you can do is just think that you really only lost 600.00 since that is the amount you deposited.

Hopefully you have learned from your mistake, if this is regular behavior of yours you really should think about getting some help because it's a serious addiction that can really cause harm to yourself and your family members. Not trying to preach or judge, you may be a very wealthy person, but the fact that you haven't slept over these losses leads me to believe that this money would have really been beneficial to you.

Wish you all the best in the future, but as @maxd stated above, there really is nothing that can be done to help now.
