I want to play slots like Zeus and Black Knight.
Or Monopoly slots.

I have been around to a few casinos like Betfair(?) and SkyVegas and they do not accept Australians.

Anyone know of any casinos that offer the full range of slots by "WMS" (Williams) - or IGT and accept Australians?

What I think is going on here is that WMS and IGT are restricted in Australia.
Or at least that is what a chat support just told me. Too bad, I really wanted to play these slots as well. :(

Hey Petro,

Yes they are not available to Australians as they make some of our physical slots that you see in pubs/clubs/casinos here in Australia. It is a shame because we'll never get to play some of the highly rated WMS slots that people seem to talk about.

It could be worse, like if we were in the US for example, so we just have to be happy with what we got. ;)

I've played Zeus here in Australia in land based pubs and clubs.
Same with IGT games, I have played them here as well.

Strange how they don't allow Aussies to play them online.

@Azzurri: Do you think they don't want the competition from the online sector?

Petro, it's because the laws in Australia don't allow any organisation with a base or presence in Australia to offer customers online slots. This is why you may have noticed companies like Bet365 only have their sports book available online to Australian customers, but not their casino. This is because online sports betting is not illegal in Australia for companies to offer, however online casinos are.

Due to IGT and WMS already having a presence in Australia with physical slots, none of their online slots can be offered to Australian players, even if the casino that stocks the slots is offshore. If they did, they would be charged and lose their licence to supply their physical slots in Australia.

That's the easiest way to describe it, as the Australian laws regarding online gambling are pretty complex and vague.

Hope that helps.

name i was allowed about 4 years ago to use the casino at bet365, when did these changes occur?
Shelley K I am unsure exactly sorry.
name okay, thanks

I heard bet365 got Aristocrat slots in some years ago, my guess would be that after this Aussies were not allowed to play in their online casino.

Mate I think you'll find the relevant legislation banning online casinos in Australia was only past through in 2008 or 2010 from memory. Sorry, can't remember exactly, but a quick Google search will bring it up. This may be why you once could play in their casino.
