WMS Slots... Tight?

Hey Guys,

i love the WMS slots, so i was very excited when they came to Nordicbet (and now CasinoEuro) where i can play them.

Do you guys play these slots different than other brands? For me even the "lower variance" ones, seem to be pretty tight...

Let's take "Wizard of Oz" as example...

0.90$ bet

Feature after around 120 spins. The "Winged Free Spins". Paid 3.40$
Feature after around 150 spins. The "Winged Free Spins" again, paid 2.10$
...

And the list goes on.

I just want to know if that was just "bad luck" or if these slots are really tight and if it's usual that you can have such crappy bonus rounds?!

If yes, i defninitaly need to change my strategy with WMS slots :)))

Thanks guys,
Hoff

WMS slots have something of a unique profile, and generally dispense with a lot of the small 'bankroll preserving' wins in favour of fairly regular 100-200x hits, even on the lower variance slots.

It's a definite change of pace and you have to match your bankroll and your expectations to that.

To give you an idea, even on their low-medium variance slots, I'd say a bankroll of 200x your stake is an absolute starting point to give some confidence of a decent hit and some reasonable playtime, and even then it can go horribly wrong.

As for the higher variance slots, (and Oz is probably only medium variance), the sky is basically the limit, they can suck and suck and suck and still not drop anything major.

I'd suggest you hammer them in free money mode first, to get a feel for how they roll, because they're massively different to the likes of NetEnt or Rival, for example.

EDIT - I should just say that I've settled on WMS slots as being my favourites overall, I basically play at Jackpot Party and nowhere else these days, but even on the 'safer' lower variance slots, a kicking can still be dished out on a bad session.

Thanks Dude for destroying my evening!!! Hahahhaha...

@ Chopley. Thanks for rounding it up, i will play WMS Slots more carefully in the future ;-) I was only used to Jackpot Party where i can trigger the bonus rounds all the time and payouts are quite ok :)

The base game payouts are actually better at the other casinos running WMS slots, they're all pegged at 96% RTP whereas Jackpot Party are 92% on the base games plus 3% from the progressives.

The wild reel features on the Oz slots (Oz has it and so does Ruby Slippers) are much better than the Shitstorm, come up far more often and are far more generous with wins, but tend to pay sensible amounts rather than the almost 'hidden progressive' that TSII/IR have on the paytable.

Sorry for the confusion i meant the Slot not the casino :) The slot is basically the only WMS slot where i can trigger the bonus round all the time :)

Ahhh right you mean 'Super Jackpot Party' then, as that's what the slot is called. 'Jackpot Party' is the name of a casino running WMS slots :)

That's basically the lowest variance WMS slot there is, it's what I use for wagering when I get into a nice EV+ position on a bonus. You'll very rarely see over 100x on that slot, which is why the bonus round comes up so often :)

Last time I played wiz of oz. I tried to show them to my father "these are really good, just amazing!".

Well.. first 5-7 features were straight award 5-10xbet. After that emerald city 1xbet. After that winged, maybe 5xbet. After that 4-5 times award (5xbet).
Wild reel feature triggered maybe 7 times or some and best return was maybe 40xbet (original bankroll was 400-500xbet) and we were allmost out of money that time, so really did not helped much.

So they can be brutal for sure :D..
On that session only game that was decent was star trek (180£ for 1,05£), but did not helped too much. Mainly because wizard of ozz and ruby slibbers features were so shitty. They ruined our bankroll.

A couple from me from Sunday, just to add fuel to the fire ;)

And you really, really don't want to know what I hit on Bruce Lee that night :D

I haven't really and Truly given them a go yet ... Still chasing 50 000 x bet on DOA ... lol.

I did however play the Wizard of OZ for Fun at Nordicbet... I'm sure it has kinda medium hit potential. Its OK IMPO and doesn't have that Big Hit Potential for me... Well nothing has it after a few Big Wins on DOA :)

Does anyone actually have the Ruby Slippers version apart from Jackpot Party?

Nate

My first shot at those slots was an awesome run (posted screenies a week or two ago in winners section) so
my expectations were a little too high on the next two sessions:
To me over three sessions they feel like med, inclining towards high variance, i have had a few features which were expensive to get and didn't pay even 1 x bet (especially on Bruce, you bastard!) but like i said on the first session i got on the good side of the RTP and had hit after hit.

They are kind of addicting, in my opinion mainly due to that simple "super, mega, amazing and inconceivable" anouncements accompanied
by that intoxicating music:)

Very happy to be able to play them indeed!

You saw the video then :D

You could literally lose tens of thousands of pounds playing Bruce Lee at £12 per spin and not see the 20 free spins round come in, how long were you playing for at those spins to get it?

And just to give you an idea what Bruce is capable of, here's 3380x stake off the 20 free spins round.

Note that this could still have been a better trigger if all four symbols on reels 1 and 2 were Bruceys, instead of just three of them.

i reckon this slot could do 5000x stake or better with that trigger.
