Anyone else here used these guys?
They are part of the Aspire Global group, but notice they are based in Romania.

They are UKGC licensed so seemed fine to play.

Long story short, withdrew for first time £350 against about £500 in cumaltive deposits over the months - had the usual request for Docs but they have also requested NOTARISED ID - this is the first time I have ever had this request in 15 years of online play.

This is despite being on the voters roll, deeds of my house and having full British passport and driving licence, as well as being fully signed off on some of their other brands like Karamba, Barbados Casino etc.

Anyone else had this? I’m loath to spend £100-£150 quid on this relatively small cashout. I have said I'm happy to get it if they shoulder the cost (very doubtful). Is there any pushback on this?

Hey!

Well, I always thought that NOTARISED ID is request for some kind of bonus abusers or registration bonuses abusers. Also I can understand when casino want to stall payment and request it. But 350 pounds from a guy who spent 500 pounds?

I'm really feel sorry for you mate, but the whole situation make me laugh...

Btw, did they somehow explained such request?

I’ve appealed the decision and will see what they say.

No they didnt - I sent them a long email explaining I was certified at the other casinos and could provide ample evidence of proof of ID. Got this nothing response back:

“Welcome back to Wixstars….. The most secure and fun online casino around!
Well done on your cash out. Since this is your first cash out, you are required to send the documents for the cash out.
Once the documents have been sent, checked and approved, your cash out will then be processed.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by coming to LIVE CHAT, where we are available from 7AM to 12AM (GMT) 7 days a week.”

No mention of why they would request.

So thanks Wixstars, not only did I have my win slashed in half due the Herculean wagering (bonus plus deposit x25. All slots only count half too ((apart from their 6 in house games)) so really bonus plus deposit x50), Its now getting halved again due to this crap.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

You can get notarised ID done at the Post Office for £10.50 but I would check first that they will accept it. I've recently sent this off to another casino but checked first and it passed.

Im just checking this as its all new to me- i think notarised who have to be from here:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Which is slightly differant to certified. If anyone knows more feel free to enlighten me.

I also love the irony of having to supply locktight legal proof of ID to a casino based in whats arguably the fraud capital of Europe.

If that's the case, why are you even considering playing there? Romania??

Your right - more fools me on this one. Won’t be making the same mistake twice thats for sure.

Well atleast you made a thread about it so people know not to play with this group. I despise casinos that take this route as a ploy that you reverse your cashout and lose it instead. I looked at this casino the other day and thought of maybe giving it a go so now I wont.

Those bloody “system errors” causing havoc again. Sounds like it is miraculously sorted now after 3 days of detailed emails (me) and canned responses (them).

“We thank you for contacting us at Wixstars. We are writing with reference to your email.

We would like to inform that we have checked with our Accounting Department in regards to your documents for the cash out and they informed us that we have all the required documents already and all were approved.

We would like to apologize for the recent email requesting documents, it came up due to a system error.

Your cash out will be processed as soon as possible. We will update you shortly.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.”
