From what I know if money has been withdrawn back to a lost card (which was closed) Then technical it should not be possible. BUT transaction do go through anyway so if that card is linked or was linked to your bank account like the card you made deposit with. Then the money should still arrive in your bank account.

I've had this problem with refunds when buying clothes online (expired card etc).
The money will float around a little about a week in my experience but let your bank know asap.

I am sure the banks have a protocol for when this happens. There are many reasons why a closed card might still have transactions appear later on. If the bank blocks them, it may take a while for the casino (the merchant) to realise the money has bounced back. If you contact the bank right away, they may be able to ensure the incoming refund does not get bounced, but is redirected to the current card instead.

Even if it does end up on this lost card, the bank can refund it to you either by cheque or if you give them the details of a current account.

I had almost the same problem when a very large win went back to my Barclaycard instead of Neteller, putting it into credit by 4 figures. I simply contacted Barclaycard who then asked for details of my current account, and they sent the money on.

The main problem is the annoyance factor, there could be a wait of several days before you can use this money.

My sister did the exact same at william hill last year. First of all contact coral by phone and get them to give you the number that goes with transaction, not sure what its called but every payment they send has one. Go to bank with that number and old card details and ask bank to trace that transaction. The payment might still reach your account but don't take the chance. Once you have done it keep chasing it up as my sisters seemed to get lost and when they kept telling her it would be sorted in a few days it never was. She eventually got the money after about 3 weeks so you will get it. In theory it should go back to coral after a while but keep chasing them up and it will get dealt with faster if not the money could lie in what her bank described as a black hole for a while lol.

Definitely goes back into your bank account.

Whilst the card number is no longer usable/defunct - it's forever attributed to your account - anything incoming lands where it's supposed to.

Well done on the withdrawal!

This happened to me. My bank denied the funds and it was returned to the originator. Once it was received back to the processor, it was put back in my casino account. I withdrew again and had it sent to the right card. It took weeks to get it straight but it will. You have to stay on top of it until the casino is notified it is back with the processor to give you credit for it. Be patient. It's going to take a while to get it straight.

Funds will go to a suspense account, ask merchant to provide you with ARN number to take it to your bank and have them locate the funds.

I have a similar problem with sky bet , I went to withdraw 1901 from my account and sky bet payed it into an account that was wrong on my account. I was told on the phone that the money would be deposited back to the original card that I use to deposit funds , the call was recorded but sky bet are saying they can't find this phone call , the money has ended up in a Spanish bank account !
