I could be the only one, but I just signed up at winwardcasino.com after I did some searching on inet about the fairness. I also couldn't find them at any rogg-lists. So I registered and I needed to activate my account. I clicked the link which I received via email and tried to activate. I got an error while trying, so I contacted live support...check out my conversation with those fools. I am sure I never played over their. I just cann't believe it...but I am glad to confront them now cause now I didn't make a deposit, thank god! Laugh, have fun:

They allowed me to register, but then immediately disabled my account because I'm from Hungary. That's OK, I found that paragraph somewhere deep in their t&c.

But they are keep sending me their promotional emails, despite the fact that I wrote them an email with the unsubscribe keyword as they required.

Their unsubscribe link (their_website/nomail.asp) is "page not found".

That's ridiculous! You made the right choice there.
They guy might just as well have said "make a deposit so I can give you a bonus and then later confiscate all your money because you've opened several accounts"!
Unreal. :eek2:

Have you played at any other parlay casinos, like Riverboat or SlotsVillage? I believe your account is shared between the casinos. You can login to Riverboat with your Winward acount and vice versa.

I've done well at Winward and cashed out with minimal issue. It's in my top 5 largest gains. However, a good number of players have had rogue-like issues there. The following warning is from my site:

"Winward has an odd rule of only processing cashouts on Monday. You can submit your withdrawal any day. Winward will not process it until the following Monday. You are required to fax/email ID verification prior to cashout. Some players have had delays in cashouts. Winward has seemingly made excuses to delay cashouts such as needing to resend Neteller numbers. While they do eventually pay, the delays and rule changes some have experienced are unsettling. Support is generally poor and in some cases not knowledgeable about the casino's rules. Emails may go unanswered, so I recommend live or phone support over email.

The Winward T&C states, "Players who attempt to cash out any winnings prior to having met the wagering requirements will have the bonus canceled and the withdrawal request declined, this process cannot be undone." Note that this statement seems to apply to both winnings and your initial deposit. Players have reported being unable to withdraw their deposit prior to beginning the wagering. Instead the bonus is removed and withdrawal request denied. "

Winward confiscated all my winnings and closed my account

I have had a nightmare ride with this casino.

On April 16. I deposited $500, tempted by their $500 bonus. I had a very good run on this casino, ending up at $2270 after playing through the WR. I then requested a withdrawal of this amount.

They only cash out on Mondays, but next monday they cancelled the withdrawal, I tried again, only that this time they cancelled the account and gave me back my deposit. They didn't bother to contact me about it though.

When I contact support, they say the account is closed as "per management decision". When I finally get to talk to the management the only reason they are able to cough up is that their "Risk and Fraud Department" had reviewed the account and decided to close it. When I ask what this "department" had found, he doesn't answer, but just tells me I should be happy and even grateful that they have returned my deposit.

All this time I am able to control my boiling temper, and simply say that I will go all over the internet with this info, and i particular on Casinomeister. Then the most unreal thing I've heard from a Casino rep happens. He says "Oh I'm so scared now".

I would be immensely grateful to anyone who could help put some pressure on this casino.

Those Winward fools have done that to every player (incl. myself) that made a profit. See here

Quite, of course they are not scared of Casinomeister, they will prey on players who do not know about Casinomeister. I first came upon Winward around three years ago, and this was through another casino site. They had glowing testimony, and even an article about how they had not only rescued a defunct casino, but kindly paid all players the funds owed as a gesture of good will.
This was before I heard about so called "fake watchdog sites" with bogus "news articles". Oddly enough, Winward actually paid out from the SUB, but at the time I expected nothing else from any online casino.
That original chat log is truly exeptional, they player is pretty much accused of multiple account fraud, but is then immediately offered the sign up bonus all over again. This may have been a rogue player, but it seems the casino was no better.

Some casino operators ask why players see it as an "us Vs them" rather than harmless entertainment, well, this is one example as to why this has come about. If the industry did something about such rogue operators, then players will treat the casinos with more respect.
As a player, half the time I feel I have to watch my back lest I fall into some trap, and every time something goes wrong I fear the worst. On many occasions, the worst turns out to be the truth (see my recent rant on Grand Privvy).

Winward still won't pay

Winward is still refusing to pay my winnings, and now replied the following:

Please note that your $500.00 inital deposit was refunded back in 5/7/2007 4:34:00 PM with transaction number NT13953889.

Management made a desicion and is going to stand with it there is no loss on your side since your money was refunded.

Sincerely,

George

This is a good one. The casino can feel free to confiscate winnings, because the player won't have lost anything. In my reply I asked if they would have refunded me losses, had I lost.
