Ok just for fun,

With todays winning streak I had with All Star, close to 3k in under 2 hours, what do u all think the loss run will be at after cashing out 2k and leaving around 800 to play with. By loss run i mean few bonus wins higher than avg winning spins etc.

SOOOO true, glad i cashed out what i did the 800 i had left to playwith is down to 289. Its fluctuating between 289 and 350.00 but at least its holding steady. Amd yes i got the hell out of dodge on the other slot cause i noticed spins went downhill after the huge win, naturally i expected nothing less. Things will be back to normal losing mode in bout an hour or so lol

Come to think about it i have never had a winning streak like that in two years of playing online. Even when i started with Allstar was so so and i usually rebet my meager $100.00 winnings and lost em. Im not greedy, hell im happy when i win $100.00 and consider myself lucky. I now pass that luck on to all of you go and win that money

It really doesn't work that way. As mentioned, the casino doesn't keep 'score'; it went down, simply because it's more likely than not to go down. If a big hit say, were to come up one in 10,000 spins, it's as likely to come at the beginning, ie the next spin, as it is at the end of the 10k spins. Hence, the randomness. Big hits are few and far between, but because of the random factor, they could come grouped, like you received, scattered, or even grouped again a long time from now.
Best bet, is set a limit what youre willing to walk away with; play with what you can afford to lose

Thank you, and i totally agree with you about the betting only what you can afford to lose which is why i only deposit $50.00 a week on a site and bet $1.00 spins cause i dont think anyone in this economy unless u are a billionaire can afford to lose any money lol.

So i will ask then.

Why do they put on some sites,

Highly volatile, Volatile, medium etc.

I really dont see a difference on many of them.

ooooh, i have always had it half-assed backwards

I always thought it meant like Highly Volatie, high bonus hit more but found that not to be true so began wondering. Ty

You might not be able to notice it when playing (especially as I would imagine most of your sessions are pretty short if you always bet $1/spin from a starting point of only $50!) - but there definitely IS a difference in volatility (or "variance") from slot to slot.
Generally:
Low variance = lots of small wins and not much hope of a real biggie.
High variance = lots of spins with tiny or no wins, but a much better chance of a biggie.

Slots with high payouts for the top symbols and those with lots of expanding or stacked wilds are generally the higher variance.
And obviously, those with normal wilds & low top pays are lower.

Congratulations on your great run!

And since i believe that when Lady Luck rears her head you share the wealth, i made a $500.00 donation to charity of some of my winnings. To me is only right and is a huge part of my belief system.

Edit: Although im not sure if making a donation and sitting here rooting on Santa to kick rudolphs shiny red nose go together lol

It's your money, your right to spend it as you see fit. If you feel generous enough to donate it and some charity questions the method from whence it came, I'm certain there's others who would happily benefit from your generosity ;)
