Just to change things up a bit, I thought I’d share the decent session I had on Friday night.

Last weekend I made a $51 deposit to BC.Game and managed to get 3-4 hours play with it and ended $11 up. Then used that balance for my session on Friday. Here is a screenshot of my session in spreadsheet form:

As I often do, I also made a second deposit (to Metawin) so I had two casinos to jump between. This deposit was for $61. Here is my session in spreadsheet form:

So all up I made $111 in deposits, had approximately 10 hours of entertainment, and ended up withdrawing $352.

Finally, here’s the one win worth posting a screenshot of (Heart of Cleopatra, 615x):

Very nice result in the pub yesterday, decided to try some £2 spins (max stake) on the Blueprint game 'SENOR BURRITO', literally after three spins it drops a bonus in (scatters on 1-3-5), my friend then took over pick me duties and managed to get RESPINS all the way to a full screen of the bonus symbol, which kicks off the big money round, and it landed on £300!

First time I've ever played this game, so £6 in, £300 out. Or in other words, 5000% RTP :D

(I still haven't made any deposits to any online casinos at all in the year 2024, I'm actually quite happy just having the odd punt at the pub when I'm out. And should you win, the machine simply pays out crisp £20 notes and doesn't withhold your winnings until you've showed it 73 forms of ID, completed a SOW check, sent a sample of your DNA to the Maltese Mafia, and endured hours of misery with the world's worst customer service agents.....)

Yes it's only 150x, but considering the top prize on these is 250x (£500 on a £2 spin), not a bad result at all.

RTP on the £2 stake is 92%.

Also we invented a new drink called the PVR, which is Pernod, Vodka and Red Bull. It tastes a bit like those Black Jack sweets you could get in days of yore.

Hang on a minute chops..... @ChopleyIOM

So all that stick you gave me 2 years ago when it all first kicked off about online going from 96% to 94% and me saying its not too bad, and that I would still find it acceptable and you telling me im crazy to think it wont matter etc blah blah when I explained you can still win its still a big part of luck.

Then you go posting you're happily playing, not only at 92% but at a massive £2 stake to get that, oh how the mighty have fallen ;)

I mean I said at the time when your playing 20p/40p a 2% drop isn't the end of the world but at £2 spins with a 4% drop is monstrous and technically 20 times worse! haha Someone is clearly not practicing what they preach are they ;)

Nice hit though :) the usual degsy spawn hits again! LOL

PS... I will take luck over RTP any day. :)

Fair point on the face of it but my play in the pub is very, very different to what my play online used to be like :)

As you know I was a real low-roller 'grinding' sort of player online, always on the lookout for half-decent bonuses (not that they existed anywhere except 3Dice towards the latter end of my online days) and getting settled in for the long haul, trying to find slots like that Double Fancy 7s at VS that had a 97% RTP and lumping away at it for extended periods of time.

I was always after playtime, and that meant sensible volatility as well as decent RTPs, hence me tending to set the floor of 95% for what I'd tolerate when it came to RTP.

For playing in the pub it's more a case of death or glory really, I know I'm playing at shit RTPs (90-92%), and indeed shitter RTPs than one can still easily find online even in these nerfed days (94% being par for the course at VS, for example). For playing online I considered 500x my starter bankroll (i.e. £100 deposit for 20p spins), but for £2 spins in the pub that'd mean going out with £1000 cash, and I ain't doing that :D

Also for the pub I'm out with friends, and we do the machines as a bit of a fun group activity (as per the videos on my channel), but at the same time I'm not going to be standing there for hours just lumping money into the gamblers, they're there as a bit of an amusing diversion, for a relatively short period of time.

Finally the games in the pub are very low volatility, 250x is a tiny top prize really, so even though the RTP is low, they don't have to be funding any big prizes out of that RTP, not even 500x or 1000x, let alone any of the psycho wins online slots have to accommodate within their RTP these days.

If you bring it down to absolute brass tacks, the end result of playing any random games with a house edge is that, eventually, you're going to lose all your money if you do it for long enough. Against that backdrop the machines in the pub are an acceptable way to have a bit of a punt once in a while, and because my stakes are quite big compared to what I used to play online, even a modest 150x win can result in quite a nice cash prize :D
