A nice little one-two on Medieval Moolah at 3Dice last night, the amounts involved aren't amazing but it set me up nicely for the rest of the month's VIP bonus offers.

Basically I started the session off with a balance of under £120, and my goal was to get to £120 or more to be able to claim the next VIP match offer which kicks in tomorrow. (That's 50% up to £60 on a 5xWR, so I need £120 in my Personal Safe to be able to claim it in full.)

My balance held reasonably steady for a few minutes until I landed a four scatters feature.

This kicks in an enhanced version of the feature where the minimum prize is 24x stake and maximum is 384x stake. (Five scatters is better again but I've never seen that so I can't tell you what the values are.)

Anyway, it wasn't great, hitting 96x stake, but this did at least put me over £120.

With my balance at £124 I decided I'd play down to £120 and then stop, but literally two spins later I landed a three scatters feature and this maxed out at 192x stake.

You can see in the screenshot below how the board is different for three scatters, with lower minimum values at the top, and a lesser maximum prize at the bottom. Every drop down is a straight 50/50 true random chance (Enzo from 3Dice confirmed this here at CM many years ago).

Played a few more spins and got my balance up to just over £185, so decided to call it there until the next bonus offer drops into my cashier tomorrow.

I really enjoy playing traditional slots with reels and features you can understand, sensible volatility and solid RTPs - Megaways can get in the sea as far as I'm concerned.

Decided to press on with Arctic Adventure for a little while last night, and spawned out somewhat when on only my fifth feature I hit the 100 free spins at 10x pay top bonus round. (This is rather fortunate.)

I always let the autoplayer do the picks for me, this was only a three scatters trigger as well, so it could only afford to miss hitting an 'up' arrow once - as you can see it did a splendid job here. (Four and five scatters triggers pay a bigger cash award as well as giving extra picks.)

The round is exactly what it sounds like, so sheer weight of numbers means you're always going to get a reasonable pay, generally speaking 400-500x stake is about where you'd expect this to land on around average luck.

This was one of the better ones, finishing at 634x stake, albeit I didn't hit a top-tier 5OAK. (For reference, a single line of the top paying symbols with a doubling wild would pay 2000x stake in this round.)

This has put my balance up to £291.30p which leaves me in a nice spot for the rest of the month, and then I'll probably spunk it all chasing a progressive as the month draws to a close, which is what I usually do ?

Some nice hits. Was playing the cascade game wth gnomes on vegascst and hot like 1200, which I lost back unfortunately had a huge 700 hit on lawless ladies on slots.lv. Had no clue the red grils paid that much. Lost that back as well... now just hit a huge screen of girls on the new RTG game. Got the bonus game and hit a stack of girls in the middle rows. couldnt get a picture, but it ppaid abour 2k for 1.40 bet.

I'm having one of my periodic and futile attempts to win a progressive at 3Dice (one of these days.....), so having had a decent run so far this month I'm lobbing a few quid at Battle of Bastogne. Alas no sign of a progressive yet, but I just landed this decent 200x stake win in the basegame, as you can see it's a 5OAK, and the wild that's taking part also acts as a doubling agent for the win.

I wasn't a huge fan of this game originally, but it's kind of grown on me since its release back in February 2020, and is one I return to on a reasonably regular basis (if funds permit), the progressive does get won regularly too, I'm sure my turn will come round eventually

The game actually has two progressives on it, a MINI and a MAXI, obviously the MAXI is the one you're after but the MINI can grow to a reasonable size. In fairness I have won the MINI once, but I don't really count that as a true 'progressive hit'.

Total game RTP is 96%, with 3% given to the MAXI and 1.5% to the MINI, so if you're not hitting either of those, you're looking at 91.5% RTP - however they do a decent job of balancing this out by making the game sensibly volatile, the top prize you can hit outside of a progressive is for five wilds, which pays 1000x stake.
