Casino Kingdom, 6th - 9th April. £26 VIP points redeem*, WR £780** - Part 1 of 3.
* £20 Lucky Day bonus plus £6 worth of VIP points earned from play on a recent deposit
** except that it wasn't £780 (more on that later).
I started on MM Isis at 50p a spin.
67 spins played - balance is at £4. Spins 68 and 69 both gave 3 scatters, and the FS rounds paid 96.88x and 11.68x respectively.
87 spins played - balance is at £55. Spin 88 - 3 scatters for my third feature in the space of 21 spins.
I get a re-trigger on spin 14. After 34 spins out of 40, I'm sitting on a win of 141x.
Spin 35 delivered the big hit of the round....
5OAK of vase with wild. 607.2x bet.
Total for the round (60 spins in total - I got a second re-trigger on spin 40 out of 40) - 791.92x bet.
Balance at £450, which was to be my peak balance for the MM Isis session.
188 spins played - I quit MM Isis with my balance at £418. Next up - the first of two sessions on Jurassic Park at 60p a spin.
147 spins played - I reach my valley balance of the first JP session, £363.
296 spins played - my balance is at £383. Spin 297 - 3 scatters. I was awarded the Triceratops feature.
On spin 9, I get a stacked wild on a dead spin, so I get the respin. And it was a good one...
18 x 5OAK of Ian and of T-Rex. 240x bet.
Total for the round (the other 11 spins in the round paid a whopping 0.5x) - 242.5x bet.
Balance at £528 with £508 of WR left (which later turned out to be incorrect). It's looking good for a sorely needed cashout.
355 spins played - I reach my peak balance for the first JP session, £544.
1,144 spins played - balance is at £427 and I appear to have cleared WR.
So I check to see if my bonus balance has been changed to £0. It hasn't. OK, I'll play on until I drop to £400, then check again.
1,582 spins played - I finally drop down to £400. Total wagered: £1,043.20. So now I've played the bonus through 40 times.
Surely my bonus balance is now at zero? Uhm....no it's not. Now I'm wondering WTH is going on. Off to Live Chat I go.
And then I get some rather bad news. The WR was not £780, nor was it £1,040. It was £3,149.88!
How so? Well, on March 18th, I made a £150 deposit at Casino Kingdom with a 125% bonus (£188).
That meant a WR of £5,640. But I busted out having completed £3,270.12 of the WR, leaving £2,369.88 of the WR "unmet".
Just for the record, when I busted out, I did zero my balance in order to "kill" the bonus.
But because the £20 Lucky Day Bonus was essentially a "second chance freebie", the unmet WR from the initial deposit was added to the WR for this LDB.
So £2,369.88 + £780 = £3,149.88.
Bugger.
Given how I had ran in 2019 up to this point (47 deposits, 2 cashouts, both of which were for amounts that weren't even double the amount I deposited),
my heart just sank. My first chance of the year to actually land a proper cashout and now I just fear the worst - getting slowly reeled in and busting out
before I can clear this now monster WR. I'm fuming, pissed off and the rest. So I take the right course of action. And log the f*ck out of the casino.
3 days later, I resume the WR. Balance at £400 with £2,107 of WR left. And I kick things off with the second session on Jurassic Park at 60p a spin.
I really could use a good start.
85 spins played - I reach my valley balance for the second JP session, £374.
Spin 86 - 3 scatters. I am awarded the Triceratops feature. On spin 7 of 12, I get two stacked wilds on a dead spin. Uh oh.
The dreaded 3 stacked wilds and zero win after the respin is a distinct possibility.
As our friend suomikala would say "don't screw me over game please".
Thankfully, it didn't....
27 x 5OAK of Ian. 225x bet.
Total for the round - 254x bet. Balance at £526 with £2,056 of WR left. Long way to go, but I've still got a chance to get something decent out of this.
It wasn't long before those chances were given a massive boost.
Part 2 to follow....
