Wondering what the heck RTP is? Find out here at Casinomeister.
Not suggesting WH was perfect, but remember the group was taken over by 888 in mid-2022.

WH saw a considerable bonfire of long-running promotions, and further RTP reductions - Light and Wonder dropping as low as 89%, Playtech dropping from 96% to 92-93% - in September and October last year.

A lot of this was discussed here at the time - best to vote with your wallet when operators are taking the piss that much.

i dont play at william hill just play captain venture at mr green as that is the same rtp at all casinos i do not think they can amend that game?.
correct, we have the game too but at All British Casino, you get cashback.

Just joined today but says not verified :( if you want SOW already, you might as well close it now LOL
Electronic verification is done, you dont have to submit anything up to £1400 in deposits/withdrawal or when a single withdrawal occurs above £1000 and we conduct basic KYC.

Hey Jan is All British Casino your favourite out of all your brands as you seem to be promoting it heavily lately yet never mention any others in the group lol.
I like the game thumbs a lot :)

Sorry. But I hate them. They make the site look like an 888 bingo site from 2009. - cheap

It's so difficult to browse through the games since you have to read the names of the games, rather than (almost instantly) recognise the thumbnails

Mother F'ers have decided to change my 28/31 days per month winning bonus drops, now its 0/31 days per month a winner. Makes sense why nobody wins those cash prizes, when the rig it like so. Though I'm sure some lucky punter down a few mill has probably bee given the green light to hit a fiver cash on it though, once. No suprise though, 888 .... lol.

After over 100 free spins on various casinos during the past few weeks and enjoying 90 dead spins from them, finally get rewarded a bonus on some "silk road game". Pretty tense 12 dead spins that was.
What an absolute money grabbing shit show online gambling is these days, and hills are right up there amongst the biggest jokers. Tight as shit with the betting inplay odds too, just look at any team thats 60/1 , go check BF or sky and you'll often see them at 400+/1, and thecashout value is always less.

Bored rant.
WH. If you read this, eat sh..

Their bonus drops are based on play through.

If ur not depositing or playing, then whatever ‘credit’ you had left in the background will slowly run down and then you’ll start getting consistent losses 99% of the time.

This will change back to winners most of the time once you’ve started running credits through slots again.

you sure? I was barely depositing for a year and was winning on that drop 28/31 days a month for the year. Barely depositing to the point of having promotions becomng uneligable twice for a period. and i don't touch any of their slots, so no playthrough coming there either. I do use the sports but only the decent offers most of the time if i do.
Unlike, for example, Jamie here on CM, who both deposits and plays I beleieve a lot more than i did during the last 12 months. yet he says he never wins, and i win almost daily for a year.

I dunno. I do know they suck ass.

I've noticed the same...

Additionally, the selection of games used for Bonus Drop and similar promotions has worsened considerably in recent months - a lot more of the Red Tiger stored value traps... so not only are you playing an "89%" slot instead of 92-94%, but a percentage of that RTP will never be realised because stored value is forfeit at the end of each free spins promotion (as in completely lost, if you get another free spins promotion in the future it will start from zero stored value) - so for all we know it could be 50%, 70% or 85% RTP effective...

I guess we should be thankful it's still 5 spins at 10p - I've seen other operators dropping to fewer spins, or using slots at 5p stake... only a matter of time until they do likewise (or as with the Bonus Drop, boot more people out entirely)

When I was playing bonanza at hills I was barely losing on the bonus drop ever. Maybe 1 in a 100 something like that.

I was still betting with them, mainly the epic boosts but also on horses and football accas as they’re prices are still competitive even today.

I as an educated player would obv never touch the lower RTP slots, so it was mainly bonanza only at the time.

Once I’d stopped playing bonanza and the footy season came to an end also, I noticed that all of a sudden(after about a week) I suddenly started losing EVERY time on the bonus drop. This also coincided with me not betting with them at all, not even on horses (again they can still be competitive in this field)

Even tho the bonus drop losses had started, I was still doing the odd 5 free spins they give you a few times a week on the vegas site and on the betting site. I hit a feature on one of them and got the balance to about a tenner. As it was free money I switched to bonanza and ran the balance up to about a ton. I ended up raising the stake and of course ended up spaffing it but wasn’t that fussed as I’d not deposited in a few months.

But obv I’d played through a fair amount of wagering if u like.

As a result of this, I’m now winning again daily on the bonus drop even tho I haven’t deposited once apart from Friday night to take advantage of the epic odds, doubled my money and withdrew.

I too also got bonus banned (which they sited as responsible gambling) during my time of no deposits. But they reintroduced the promotions again after about a month.

I used to sometimes get really lucky off the 5 spins but nothing in months from will hill. Also used to get five live casino bonus and many time wager it as the playe through was only £20 they've now changed the live casino bonus to £2 and play through is £60

Hills use to give kick ass deposit bonuses as well. Just 10x wagering even on blackjack up to £200!!!

They had to tighten it up at some point. The 888 takeover soon put pay to that. Otherwise before that they were very generous.

It’s like all bookies now. The answer is simple. Take advantage of the boosts they offer which are definitely +EV and don’t play any sub RTP slots.

Don’t believe for one minute that places like hills, sky, brokes and coral etc can’t afford to offer the higher RTP versions. They can and will continue to take the piss out of people, so long as people continue to feed them.

Hopefully one day, one of the sites/companies will realise this, put out an advert showing the statistics and benefits of how long ur money will last on the highest RTP slots, compared to their rivals so the whole world can see it and move over to them, thus starting a bidding war.

It’s a pipe dream at the moment but for whoever sees that long term as more and more people become aware of horse shit RTP the winning casino(s) will be the one who has the most customers playing more regular.

I mean look at bet 365 at the moment. All slots on highest RTP and now a huge selection of games. Far and away by a mile the best place to play for UK slotters, yet they are rarely mentioned here and despite an advert with Ray Winston telling u about their betting offers every 5 mins, hardly ever do they shout this from the rooftops!!

I need a consultancy role I think.

I did well on the 100% reloads that were to be used on thje in house games. woud deposit 5 - 10 and play that in-house megaways game. wagered the small amounts with the decent turnover requirements realy well and so was making withdrawals more often than not. Then the amount I was allowed to use on the reload got reduced. then it got reduced further again. Then the weekly offer disappeared entirely, boooo.

I take it you weren't on this forum back in the day when a certain casino had a FS promo, on Microgaming's Cashapillar slot, with spins at 1p (one line on a 100-line game) lol. That has yet to be surpassed for meanness and promo pointlessness. I doubt even Hills could.
