William Hill Casino - No Review?

Hi Simmo,

Yes they have still huge reversal times, especially when you do a withdrawal request for example on a Friday evening.
The money then sometimes is reversable for a whopping 72 hours and won't be paid out until after Monday evening.
I have seen that both on cashing out on VEGAS and on GAMES section winnings.
Even when I was using Skrill as payout option I could reverse the withdrawal for nearly 3 days.

During weekdays it was mostly 24 hours which is still way too long in this day and age.

Hi Simmo,
Yes, this is correct. The IGT slots I played are on the main site which log onto and then under "Games" not via the Vegas product.
Here is what is described- If you have made a withdrawal but it has not yet been sent, you are now able to reverse (cancel) it and the funds will be credited back to your William Hill account balance. We have made this change in response to customer feedback we have received, and it means you can now reverse a pending withdrawal instead of having to deposit more money.

Hope this helps

Why do they even put that? Today I got an email from a (another Playtech) casino I'm testing saying "withdrawals...could take between 4-9 days but in the end of the day its for your own safety".

What it tells me is they either don't understand or don't care about the psychology behind gambling and that they regard every new customer as a short-term opportunity (and probably as a bit stupid if they believe those lines). And most will be short term because of these policies. Catch 22. All you have left to work with is bonus offers. But hey, it's their business and they are free to do it how they want.

I accept a lot of the time it's cultural differences and thankfully there is enough choice out there now to be able to find somewhere that does it the way you want but I still find it amazing these practices are still regarded the right way to treat customers, especially by someone in Hill's position.

Since WHCC is not in the accredited Casinos list it would also not be possible to submit a PAB against them right?

You should be ok to do it - they used to not want to deal with player issues but I think now they will. I might be mistaken though, maybe check with Max first. If you look at the PAB FAQ under one free shot (2.7) you'll see info about PAB against non-accredited casinos.

because lets face it, they are the biggest and most well known gambling institution in the uk/ if not the world

They are the safest and have the most to lose so you should feel perfectly safe betting here

good luck

Their support is rubbish, but i hardly ever need to use them.

Also, stick to playing playtech, i find fred is better for igt.
