...but you've got a great win at? :)

Let's just imagine that out of boredom you were playing a slot you really don't like, but managed to get a great win.

So, will you get back or just stop playing this slot completely?

Cheers!

You go where the money is. If you are winning why would u play something else knowing that if you leave she may never look your way again? You will always have memories of that big win of whatever slot and you will keep coming back to it like you think its your true love, and then before you know it she will be two faced and give her love to someone else. Shit happens its just a pity you can't make some agreement with her to get some of your money back. But hey thats slot life.

To answer your question yes I always go back to those slots because winning slots in the past give you good memories. I could care less if the slot only had black and white pixels and just the spin button with no animation or fancy bonus features coz at the end of the day its the account balance that matters.

i shall play any slot thats boring only up untill it drys up , i do pop back on a couple of machines i hate which have been nice , but there not first call slots , but as long as your balance is going the right way why not?

i like the free spins to test out slots ive never played or are likely to ever play , this is where free spins can help out as i dont play demo slots much , its a good way of playing without the costs )

We all love free spins , agree again slots as good as it pays out to be honest

I agree that it theoretically makes sense to keep playing a slot while it stays hot.

The catch is that you have to have a good feel for when that hot streak is finishing.
I find I have the best feel for this on high medium variance games. I don't really 'like' very high variance games for this reason, and absolutely detest low variance slots.

So in the past when I've found myself playing 243 line games for whatever reason (eg a bit of variety when playing out a big bonus) and hit a big win I stopped reasonably quickly as I simply have no feel for these games.
Those who play 243 line games a lot will obviously have much more of a feeling for their behaviour/nuances as they move in and out of hot streaks and that is fair enough.

Yes,

For example:

I think StarStruck at 3Dice has potential and play it on occasion, but the "line win graphics" drive me nuts!

I hate them. They seem to take forever. Even on turbo play.

If it wasn't for that, I would probably play it more.

So, maybe, maybe not, I guess........... it depends on my patience level that day.

That is the exact reason as to why I don't play at 3Dice - it drives me nuts and I just never get any excitement from their slots - even if I'm winning! Out of all their slots StarStruck was stood out as something I knew I would enjoy if only it wasn't so - "argghhhh!!!!" I find that most if not all of their slots possess this annoyance and I quickly become impatient and lacking enjoyment, which is a shame as 3Dice are a really cool operator and I like their style so to speak with their values and how they come across.

Cash counts, that's for sure.
But, enjoyment also counts.

I would say that if I was to play a slot that I don't like it would need to have some other benefit attached like a higher RTP.

Not sure if it is available on-line or not but in most of my B&M casinos there is a slot based on the "Cheers" TV show.

I tried to watch that show a few times but the droning stories and all the stars on it made me almost physically ill. So much so that I walk right past that slot and will never play it, I don't even know how many lines it is or how it plays. I know it has wheel but that's about it.

It's usually psychological - players will automatically 'like' the first slot(s) they played and made a decent w/d or profit on. They won't like what they lost on, even if to the neutral observer that slot is more entertaining than the others. So, for me that rules out playing just about every Netent game....:D

The worst part is all of them who play a game they find boring and that they haven't won on...but that they have seen very nice screenies from.

I'm talking about DoA of course :p

This is true too.

The very first slot I ever won on was MG "Cash Splash"............ and it was on a freebie back in the day (1999) before ID verification, wagering requirements and max cash-out limitations!

$1125.00!!! I really didn't think they would send the money, but they did!

It was also my very first time gambling on line.

Oh, yes, I sure will - but I never really get that far - I have my favorites, and those are the ones I play.

Sometimes, if my roll is lasting, I will play each game, right on down the list, see how it runs. For example, I played RTG's Field of Green recently - I never play that game; I don't like football, I don't like the look of that slot, and I never win anything on it. Yet, it seemed loose, so on I played, and I did get the free spins for 150x my bet. Okay, fine, works for me.

Boring, whats boring..

I know I dont play slots that irritate the crap out of me.
Georgie Porgie for example, is that game boring?
Its almost a clone of BDBA (15 lines instead of 9), one of my all time favourites, so I guess its not boring, but I just cant stand the theme, the pics, the music, I hate it!
And I wont play it for that reason.
Or Wild Water(NetEnt), one more time "Amped, totally amped" and I'll crush my monitor into a trillion pieces with a double sided axe!:eek2:

But I love to play classic 3 reel slots from time to time, 1 winline, no feautures, just straight to the point slots, boring as hell for some maybe, but I like them!:D

Guess winning has indeed alot to do with it.
Always thought videopoker was boring.
That was until I hit my first royal.;):D

So yes, I do play games that may seem boring at first.
But if slots irritate me in any way, I'm gone.

You go where the money is.

That is the only sentence I need to quote in this thread. If I am being shallow, the amount I win does play a fairly big part in my enjoyment on a slot. Ok, there are some slots I just despise *cough cough* China River by Bally but if I won big on it I'm sure I'd put my differences with the slot to one side. I can be mature about this... for the money. :)
