Whine and Moan Will Hill....how rude?

I miss the olden days, with the multitude of MG & Playtech download casinos constantly dishing out £10, £20 freebies. Birthdays you didn't even have to ask, it was a given....

Then along came the popularity of browser- based platforms, and the licensing changes (booooo hissss) that ruined, well, everything :D

And those not giving free credits would give 200% bonuses and the like, or 50+ spins on select games

Now they bestow 5-10 spins on shite and label us freeloading, scroungy money launderers.

Some might call that a decline :eek2:

The whole point is I WASNT asking for free stuff! I was asking did their loyalty program include birthday bonuses....

Exactly which should be fair enough. Nothing bad in asking for a birthday freebie. I could understand if they had a customer/player asking every week for a freebie then yeah i would say that email would ok in place. But the way they emailed you is just pure distasteful and so wrong in many places.

It seems these days getting any kind of bonus for customer loyalty is very rare, I think BGO gave me 10 spins on my birthday and they are the casino I deposit the least at; with the thousands of £'s places like Will hill and ladbrokes have had from me you would expect the odd loyalty bonus but zilch.

The Belgian Ladbrokes site offers alot of bonuses. I usually get offered a 25 to 50% deposit bonus once a week and if I don't take it and lose my deposit they offer it again as a non-deposit bonus a few days later.

Might this have to do with the new UKGC rules on bonuses?

Having my own issues with WillHell.. oops Hill :) so I head to the forum to do some research and voila.. Top of the forum page.. confirmation that William Hill is not the casino for me.
Encountered the same pathetic customer service.
Loved your rage on CS Supababe. Thanks for sharing.
Apparently William Hill already has enough players and they are not in the market for any new ones!

"I'm sorry you feel that way" seems to be a standard quip from these upstart CS agents; I imagine they are only kids.

I always try to get that phrase in first when I get the feeling they are being difficult. :)

I have closed my account with Will Hill several times over the years. It now remains permanently closed; I just don't like the site, although their shops used to be my bookie of choice in the days before internet.

Do they still deduct 10% from your returns at Ladbrokes wedkantoren? That was a crazy tax, impossible to beat the odds, I'm surprised that the offices survived at all.

I think Gio is not suitable for his job..What a moron..
I would have asked for a senior CS rep or the shift manager..
You cannot and shall not write to a customer in this kind of wording..

Reminds me why I haven't played there in 6 years or so..A hideous place, one of those sport betting places that only wants to rake in all your cash and give nothing back for your loyalty..I have one of those just down the road (Boylesports) and my brother in law used to work for them in the IT department..The treat you like dog shite.

given willhill l are the ONLY casino who run daily promos and give free bonus. we shouldnt take it for granted asking for free stuff off them on top of it.

Nonsense, most casinos run daily promos these days.
And what is wrong to ask for a little birthday freebee.
I did it too as casinos do not seem to do it on their own anymore.

Also I got some casinos saying they could not give me anything due to new company policies and that is fine.
But at least they did not tell me to never e-mail them again about a bonus / freebee and basically to f*ck off.
And then threaten a customer that further action will be taken because she was upset, and understandingly so she was!

Then the next email from them is what has really made me turn into a raging crazy witch.....

I NEVER ask, and never have asked for anything free and rarely use live chat.

I had the age of gods promo break once due to a tech issue and was advised by their twitter feeds to other customers to ask in live help. This needed to be done every day to get each set of 10 fs.

So following this I, of course, let rip in my reply:

This would not happen if casinos were equally open about stopping a tradition like birthday bonuses. If players have not been told anything they will assume that a sudden lack of a birthday bonus is down to a technical issue, not a change in policy. They are not shy when it comes to informing players about new opportunities to lose money, such as a new game or a "too good to miss" deposit bonus.

The Birthday bonus has become entrenched as tradition as the casinos made it so, everyone got one, and often players serving a "bonus ban" still got something on their birthday.

I love the day my birthday comes round and I get freebies! Mine was only last week and I got the following:
Admiral £30
Bet Victor £15
Casumo £15
Jackpotjoy £12
Mrgreen £5
Gala Bingo £5
Slotsmillion 35 fs
Leovegas 50fs
Videoslots 10fs

Loyalty definitely isn't dead, but from previous years that list would be twice the size.

This really is terrible customer service and I'd respond in the same way. I deposit there pretty regularly but reading this and the reviews on Trust Pilot, I think I'll call it a day. Their promos are mostly crap anyway.
