Yea they shut down just over a year ago.They came in with a bang promising the world and fell just like most shoddy RTGs and I am sure with a lot of unhappy customers as well.

I took a $49 no deposit bonus there and managed to turn it into over $100 on slots while meeting some insane WR, but the casino closed down before I was able to make a withdrawal.
 
I'm interested in this story because in the past RTG has claimed that in the event of a shutdown Montana activates a system which informs and advises players to ensure noone is left unpaid.

Did you receive any communications of this nature to let you know the casino was closing, GM? This is a good test of the *system*

I had a bit of cash in my account and could not log in. No one answered their phone or responded to live chat. After checking their main site online, I saw a notice that they had server issues that were more extensive than originally thought. This went on for several months then (without ANY notice) the casino closed. Never have received any communication from them or anyone else about anything. So my experience is the Montana system SUCKS. Of course I get what I deserve patronizing an RTG outfit such as this one. THANK GOODNESS FOR INETBET!
 
Thanks, Suzecat and sympathies on your lost funds - it certainly doesn't look as if any RTG - Montana system was operating in your case!
 
I'm checking into this now as well. Strange that no one said a thing. At least when Leopard Rock closed down, there were announcments and a plan.

No. My experience is the same as Suzecat's.

I suppose the blurb on their website was supposed to serve as notice. I think most of us put 2+2 together and came up with a turnip.
 
Thanks for your experiences in this, guys - jonevegas, that would be interesting.

Perhaps there is yet a way to get you guys paid - let's see what RTG has to say.
 
About Gamrock

Someone was querying the Gamrock closure by Net Entertainment a little earlier, but I can't find the thread and this is a closure-related thread and is perhaps therefore the best place to post.

Net Entertainment management sent me the following response to an enquiry regarding the Gamrock closure. They are probably being cautious in not supplying the reasons for the shutdown, but this looks as if the operator initiated the closedown and NE therefore left the player notification procedure to the casino operator.

They do give a non-specific assurance that the players will be paid, however I don't like that phrase "on request" very much:

We have been re-assured that they will refund all players on request and information how to contact Gamrock is available at www.gamrock.com. UNQUOTE

The Gamrock site is down, and there are no guide notes for owed players available.

We still await a response to our questions emailed to Gamrock management concerning their manner of closure, reasons for closure and what measures are being taken to pay owed players.

This is what's on gamrock.com now:

"We regret to inform you that the Gamrock.com casino has been suspended permanently.

We kindly request clients that have any questions or have funds standing in their accounts to send us their inquiry to support@gamrock.com.

All questions and request for withdrawal of funds will be processed accordingly.

Sincerely,
Gamrock Casino Manager"
 
RTG confirmed with me that the casino was shut down around 9 months ago and that they (wildon) had a statement on their website for 30-60 days or so.

Looks like some people fell through the cracks on this one. I don't remember hearing anything, nor did I receive any press release or emails.

I have emails from when they launched, and even from the managers who joined the forum. Hell, I thought they still were around. Not even a thanks - goodbye. Sheesh, what a joke.

For those of you who still had active accounts, go ahead and PAB - but I can't promise anything. The Montana 60 day grace period expired a while back.
 
Oh, and make sure you submit a complaint to Montana Disputes - thanks!
