Just a thought that crossed my mind as I was sitting here over the last week or so, reading the posts that are prevalent on the boards.

All I am seeing are complaints... Yes.. there are a few OOoohs, aaaahhhhs and a few - HEY I won this! Posts... But over all the majority of the posts I am seeing are Negative.

I know a LOT of the casinos can be considered bad... But that is not always true!

I promote a lot of GREAT casinos... Bryan Promotes GREAT casinos - a LOT of the affiliates promote FABULOUS casinos.

I would LOVE to see MORE "GOOD" posts - more "cheering" posts - more posts about HEY this customer service rocks... Hey this affiliate program is Da Bomb! Hey this casino is super cool - and they treat me like a millionaire.

Wouldn't you?

I'm so tired of turning on the news to death and destruction - I'm tired of seeing only the ROTTEN side of the world.

I need some sparkly - feel good posts - some happy la la posts... Some awesome day posts.

Yanno?

I agree with you Witch on the more positive side of posting about our better experiances, but its not always going to be the case.

The world around us will always be filled with bad news, death and destruction, i mean 50k people just died in a quake for Christs sake.

We are going thru this ecomony crunch, so not much sparkles and feel goods there imo.I wonder how many folks on the forum or casinos are feeling that crunch? The extra money isnt there anymore, gambling online is entertainment and with inflation the way it is, to some it may be a luxury to be able to deposit from time to time.

We see folks getting ripped off from rogue casinos and we see bad players trying to rip off good casinos, most all of the affiliates here promote great casinos, including yours...........laurie :):):)smilies just for you:):):)

However - I wanted to add - even while those horrible things are going on - there are still some GOOD THINGS.

I mean - people like YOU - for example - what would we be without someone like you? Hmmm?

So we need to promote those things that are good..

We need to shout from the rooftops YAY!!!

*hugs out to all*

I agree there are some awesome people that run casinos

The casinos you speak of are really good and friendly, but sadly no matter how nice Enzo or Ellen are at 3 dice, I never seem to win a jackpot, so it doesnt help me when my wallet restricts me from being a high roller, or having enough money to hang on until the software pays a little better,

That is my problem. I am only going to play it at sites where the people are nice , the payouts are fast and I feel appreciated. But it probably wont change the percentage of times i win a nice hit and can post it here.

I was noticing the amounts of some of the screen shots posted in the members areas at 3 dice and the ones here, one day, and I dont know what people around the world have to spend , or what they wager each time, but I have never had anything close to the numbers I see. I have also seen a recent post about someone depositing like $20000 and getting it up to like $154000!!!

Jeez I would buy a house with that much (its easy to do here due to all the foreclosures) But when i see sceenies of accounts that show a $12000 wins and a balance of $38000 , it makes my head spin. I would seriously be happy to win one full top pay on a max bet that I could afford . I would love to be a happy poster I really would. I am doing my part, its the casino software that isnt. The newer games seem to have less and less normal pay outs and bonus games used to actually give lots.. or so it felt.

I am glad to hear that you are saddened by the many many complaints and poor experiences. There does seem to be some sort of trend happening these days though. Or you probably would'nt have notice the number of bad exoeriences. There have always been rogues, but to me the threads go in a different direction. It isnt the not getting paid thing as it seems like it used to be when some one posts a frustration, it seems like its a whole boatload of other kinds of issues.

Well here is a happy post from me! I KNOW I am a WINNER because I am part of this AWESOME online community here at Casino Meister. And no slot can top that... okay maybe a slot could but it would have to be a damned good one. Heh!

Top That one !

One of the reasons you don't see more positive posts is because your average player expects those things you list. Another thing to consider is that the very nature of gambling means that negative outcomes will outweigh positive ones. So many players like to let off a bit of steam by posting their negative experiences.

I read many negative posts on here, but I would certainly not say it is the majority of posts. It may seem that way because a lot of the negative threads hang around that much longer. So when you log in and see negative posts, many are the same ones people keep bumping up. A recent example of this is Mavins "Exterminating the low roller" that thread has been very lively for weeks now.

Negative posts will usually attract more responses than positive ones as there will be most likely many angles from both sides of the fence to debate.
Whereas a positive post from someone who tells us they made a great cash out and loved the customer support etc will disappear pretty quickly as there will be much less to discuss.

Positive and negative posts on any internet forums are merely a reflection of the characters experiences on the topic the forum is discussing. As I have already alluded to with our particular topic gambling, negativity is to be expected more frequently than say a forum discussing gardening.

It could be argued Wagerwitch, that you have added to the negativity by creating a thread regarding it. (just kidding!) :p

Excellent point Wager Witch.

There are good and bad and the good never seem to get any recognition.

I am very pleased with my relationship with:

The entire English Harbour Group(now 7 casinos I believe)

also feel the same way about
The Fortune Lounge Group (a bunch of casinos now I believe)

The other thing we forget sometimes is just as their are evil casinos there are evil players. I am certain that every form of bunko that can be tried by some players is tried and sometimes the casinos get caught with their pants down.
Recently the casinos finally caught on to roulette players who play both odd ever or red black at the same time enabling them to quickly use up their play thru requirement. I bet they lost thousands but finally caught on to what was going on.

So there is certainly attemted fraud on both sides of the coin.

Often negative posts about casinos are written out of frustration over losing streaks. The vast majority of the online casinos - most of them I refer to are accredited here - have representatives that are nice and helpful towards the players. I play a lot online and therefore had often to contact someone from the various casinos. In several years of my online gambling activities I never had any experience with the online casinos I could name as "very negative". Even when there was a problem, everything was settled fast and hasslefree. Provided that both sides - the player and the casino - stick to certain rules I think there is almost in every OC a basis for a very good communication.

Balky

I also think sometimes negative posts reflect more on the disposition of the poster rather than the subject matter. The weather has been very cold and the economy sucks. Many people just need to vent IMO.

Here is my idea of a GREAT online casino....

No wagering requirements on loyalty bonuses just as landbased casinos do.

Instant chat

Phone support

24 hour MINIMUM withdrawal turnaround

Weekly loyalty bonuses without deposit (just like landbased casinos do)

A GREAT casino does not make you playthrough your loyalty bonus 30 times, or limit your withdrawal on it or tell you that to make a withdrawal you need to stand on your head, spin around..and fall on your knees all at once..

If I wanted GREAT customer service for the price I used to pay..I would NOT play online..I would go to a landbased casino where they fawn all over you for the few bucks you leave behind..I want fairness..and real games that pay what they should online...

Online casinos have very little overhead compared to landbased ones so why in the world would they think it is acceptable to put T&C's on everything ?

I feel if you want the cutomer to stay and play..you have to give back without strings too.

Complaints?..of course there are going to be complaints...we are talking about non regulated, in your face casinos that do not care how they get your money...if they did..they would not put ties on every little bit they give you..

Comparing apples to apples...

I get bonus offers of over $300 every weekend at landbased casinos with no wagering requirements, free rooms, free shows, free dinners, free drinks...

Now, what do these online casinos offer...I mean really...they have even cut the return to player to almost nothing and for what? I have never seen so many games that pay less than a bet on a spin such as 4oak paying kess than a bet..and bonus rounds have become a joke, paying zero most of the time..what is the point of a bonus round then..so if they want happy players...make the games fair again.

So, yes, they are fun to dabble in but to play like one used to do, is not smart at all..and I guess it cuts into the bottom line of all affiliates , and that must hurt..so if you want happy people, treat them a s such, people, not dollar signs and we would be more than happy to blow our stash at all of them.

Casinos are so afraid that someone will win a buck or two that they have now penalized the whole player base with these new, useless games..that pay nothing for the investments.

Just my 2 cents worth why there are not more happy posts. It is called GREED.

.

I don't often agree with you, but on this, you are completely correct.

All the new RTG releases give modest free spins - like 7. You sit and feed the slot waiting for the free spins, and when it comes, it's basically not very much. What happened to 20 or 25 free spins being standard?

The average return on any bonus round has been reduced to about 5 times ones bet...and Wagerwitch wants to know why there are not more praises on these casinos..

Think about it..classic example is, I went back to play at a few casnios to check them out again last night, and I played hundreds of dollars of spins on each slot until I hit the bonus round, only to catch a bonus round that returned a maximum of 3 times my bet EVERY time...(see lousy screenshots) I feel like the slot police having to use my own money to prove a point..geezes..

What is there to praise about??? This has become the norm anymore and for us as players to accept this without question is only making the casinos continue to do this to us and churn out useless games that suck us dry...so if you really , really are tired of feeding these money suckers...make a statement and stop playing at them as much as you do.

Wagerwitch: I promote a lot of GREAT casinos...
I guess your bottom line is being hurt too, hence this thread.....As I said..when the games become fair again..then everyone will make more money including the affiliates that promote these places.

Hiya: The other point is, That it is hard to lose, then compliment the Casino you just lost at. In a Real Casino, you can get killed at the BJ table, but the dealer was so damn funny, and entertaining, that you lost $200, and then left a $5 tip......Since there is NO interaction with a person while actually playing online, it comes down to winning and losing, and how fast you get paid, if you win.

Also, it is Easy to rip a casino, or their games, and how you got killed. Because you get a lot of support from other players. "Yea me to", and "I never won a single bet", and so on. It is Harder to Play, Win, get paid Fast, and then come here and post about it, without coming off kind of snobby, or self promoting, or look how good i am. It is even harder if you are an affiliate. And harder still if you are playing Table games.

I made a $200 deposit last week at 3 dice. I have slowly raised it up to $500. I can not post a winner screen shot, as the actual largest win at Roulette was $62. But, even though the table limits are lower than i would like, i did get a small cash out before, and a check, and like playing there.

I have to say,

How many happy faces have any of you ever seen walk out of a B&M casino,

I can count on one hand.

BUT- I do get your angle witchypoo and appreciate the post.

Great thread, dearie, and you have my sincerest hopes that it inspires folks to be more positive and that the world will choose more people like you as an example for a better way to live and look at life - our most precious gift, too often taken for granted.

That said, no one wants "happy"! People don't read the Inquirer or watch Rush Limbaugh for "happy"! People don't come to CM for "Winner Screenshots" - they just look at Winner Screenshots because they're already here checking out the "New Posts" to make sure that they're not the biggest sucker on the planet and that somebody, anybody, else, is! "Happy" doesn't sell! "Misery" sells. If you give me a choice between having a "happy" franchise vs a "misery" franchise, I'll take misery every time. And everybody knows: "Happiness" doesn't love company, "misery" does! Happiness is just a warm gun.

A simple case in point: If people wanted "happy", don't ya think we'd see more of it, here?:

Actually - to be super honest - I don't make a lot of money on my site (LMAO - feel free to join up from my site and help increase that... LMAO!)

I truly started the site for freebie bonuses for my friends - and to show my mom that I could promote a blog... LMAO!

But it turned into something else - an well - it kinda evolved.

I'd honestly like to make money from it - but as long as everyone is having fun - that would be sooooo cool..

Everyone else - THANKS man - I love the commentaries!

Way cool.

I wrote a positive first post for Heroes Casino a year ago (2008) and it was seen by Heroes that I was trying to do a reverse blackmail of sorts. But they were people with weird thought patterns on the other hand.
