Why do so many sites block Swedish players?

Would be neat to hear some answers from reps aswell.
I play on 2-3 sites that is outside of the Swedish license hell, and as far as i can tell, am not doing anything wrong.
To the best of my understanding there is nothing stopping casinos without the swedish license to accept swedish players.
What they are not allowed to do is market themselves to swedish players. This means no ads aimed at Swedish players, not offer to play in SEK etc.
So why are so many sites just outright blocking us?
Have i completely misunderstod the swedish regulation?
Two of the sites i use outside of the swedish regulation have sister-sites that have the swedish license.

Just let me join your site and play with bonuses goshdarnit!

I apologise if I'm wrong on my understanding of the License and I'm sure other more knowledgeable Reps can come in to save the day but I believe that in order to apply for the Swedish License, you need to be "clean" in terms of not having accepted Swedish Players once the license came into affect.

I might be completely wrong with this so I will also check with our legal team and get back to you :)

I wonder how sites that do have a license can have sister sites that let us play. That can't be ok and they are taking a huge risk. I too have heard that you need to have been ''clean''.

It's also more difficult when it comes to deposits and withdrawals now. I don't think we can use Trustly on other casinos. Even Neteller and Skrill have restrictions for gambling now for us. We can't deposit at all places like we used to do.
I wonder what the rules are for game providers? They have been forced to change all of their games.

I also think it's a moral question since those that do have a license are paying a lot for it, are going though all the troubles to comply with all the new rules, and have a hard time to both get and to keep players. Several have already closed their doors for us.

Over 40 000 are already signed up at Spelpaus. I wish there was a way to prevent them from playing at other places but as we know there will always be rogue casinos out there who doesn't care.

I can't say I like it the way it is now, but I have to accept it, or move.

Oh i did not know about that.
So its basically a move to ensure you would be able to get a license, would you want one in the future?
Then the site i use must be taking a huge risk by having sites with/without the swedish license both accepting play from swedish players.
Im not sure if they allow new swedish players to register, since i already had accounts on the sites.

@Tirilej
I use trustly both for deposit&withdrawal when playing outside of the swedish license.
I dont do it often, its mostly if a good deposit-bonus shows up, or if i want to use quickspin for a session (mostly on doa)

I only kind of agree with the moral bit. If i am to be allowed to gamble, i should be able to gamble the way i want.
Its like im allowed to lose money, but only if i do it in a "responsible" way.
Bonuses extend the playtime alot for lowrollers like me, wich in turn makes me lose less money.

I think casinos closing their doors for us is what spelinspektionen wants.
What they really want is a monopoly, but that is not allowed in the EU, so they create a license where its hard to gain&retain players, making it harder to be profitable on the swedish market.

Would be pretty much same to wonder why so many casinos without UK license don't accept UK players to play in another currency etc... You could get some players but for thinking any longer than month or two, your risk/reward value is not something you would like to go for. Like stated earlier, it's not going to be easier if applying license and also how weird it be, some casino operators do actually care about regulations and prefer to operate with them instead of kind of "bit" shady way to allow players from regulated markets without license and such a practices are not the best pr for operator either.

I have experienced this as well lately and I think we will be seeing it more and more because of Spelinspektionen.
The civilminister Aradalan has been taking a really aggressive approach to this.

HOWEVER! It has been rumoured that he is a candidate to be the new prime minister which means there is a possibility that a kinder person will take his place.

Or worse
