Why 32 Red isn't so perfect...

Ok, it's definitely one of the very best out there, but there's 3 things that frustrate me about 32Red

1. The flash casino is far too volatile, and constantly loses connection leaving spinning reels (very annoying when playing IR as you're not sure if a Wild Desire is about to drop in or the connection has gone!)

2. Claiming a bonus can sometimes be a drag, they don't clear old bonus balances automatically and you have to go through Live Chat to get it done, just a bit of a chore.

3. Neteller payout times aren't so good, they seem to pay at 11am and around 5pm but nothing inbetween. This is something BetSafe do tons better IMO, they payout always within 30 minutes all day.

Just a few gripes for an otherwise top casino. If they got all the above right, it would be perfect I think - for me anyway.

Keep up with the gripes. That way, they wont be resting on their laurels. Actually, I hope to see more competition so they cangive 32RED a run for the money.

I don't play the flash version so I can't comment on that, but I know a lot of people are complaining about rolling reels and lost of connection with the download casino. I have lost my connection twice this year and I have played a lot. Sometimes it's the casinos fault but I suspect it's mostly a connection issue or something else with the players computer.

I have never had a bonus not been cleared on any of their four casinos so that sound strange to me.

I would love to get a payout instant but to me it's perfectly fine as long as it is within 24 hours.

I agree though that it's great that they are not perfect. Who loves perfect?;)

Agreed, 24hrs is absolutely acceptable but when you get spoiled by another casino that pays out so quickly, you kind of come to expect it everywhere, especially from such a big casino?!

The bonus thing really annoys me, like today I had a balance of 22p in there - I haven't played there for about 2 weeks, I make a deposit and try and claim the bonus and I can't AGAIN as it says I still have a bonus balance from the previous one I claimed 2 weeks ago, so I have to go through chat to get it cleared. It's all just a hassle.

Of course, nobody likes perfect, what would we moan about!!

The flash version of the 32Red casino is an absolute horror show, completely unusable IMO.

The problem with the MG client is that it takes up over 10GB of space on the PC's C drive with no choice of an install location, and it just gets bigger and bigger as more games are added. More and more PCs and laptops now use SSDs as their main system drive, which are MASSIVELY faster than traditional hard drives but tend to be of fairly small capacity, typically 64GB, 128GB or 256GB (I have a 128GB SSD in my PC as a system drive, and a 2TB data drive.)

Considering that Windows itself usually runs to 20GB+, and a 128GB SSD for example only has 119GB of usuable space, then you really don't want to be giving over 10GB or more of space to a casino install, especially since it's not the sort of thing that benefits from an SSD at all. (SSDs are great for Windows boot times, application launch times, game installs, and so on.)

That's why I don't have 32Red installed on my main PC, but instead farm it off to the media centre PC which has a standard hard drive in it of large capacity.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure it made me understand more :D

First the flash version is a horror story but then the download take up too much space, which means that none of them would be okey?

I do remember all problems I had trying to play on my old computer. Now it takes me 2 minuts to download the casino and I don't even get bothered if the games are not downloaded at all. The space is no problem either. I have a lot more than I will ever use.

The fun thing with telling that is that I have stopped playing totally right now and closed my account at 32Red. It feels great :)
Anyone need a computer?;)

Well firstly the reason was because I use a Mac and I don't think the download version was available for Mac?

Secondly I only really play IR and all my achievements are unlocked in the flash version but not on the download version!

I did buy a PC a few weeks ago for work and installed the download version and none of my achievements were there, and as Chop says its a big install I didn't really want or need.

I do!
Lol, really i have a need for a new PC for a long time now:p

What made you decide to stop playing? are you just on a break or is this the last goodbye?

On topic: i love 32Red obviously, and i agree perfect is seemly impossible to achieve, so far i have not found much closer to perfect then 32red... I myself practically never use the flash-version but the few times i did i had no issues whatsoever.

The tech bugs seem to appear most when new games/updates are released, and mostly they are of short nature...

I very much agree with the O.P. in terms of when you do get those "rolling reels" it's especially irritating in IR indeed, and exactly for the reason he pointed out, namely that you think your getting a wild desire...

Then it's more understandable to use the flash.
Just so you know, the achievments you have gathered doesn't matter at all when you're playing. The game has the same RTP anyway.
If I were you I would play the download instead. It's so much better and easier.

@incrediblestuff
I can't give it away really, and you can't afford to buy it :p
A break is always good. Playing takes way too much time and I'm trying to learn to live in the real world right now instead. The time that's left over I rather spend in this forum, than playing ;)

Lol, yes i didn't figure you would give it away.. just saying i would take it in a heartbeat ^^
Good reason for a break: well put and i hope you enjoy the real world for a good while! (and this forum ofc)

Btw, there is one reason for wanting the achievements to be filled: just the freespins, and the ability to be able to pick all 4 bonusrounds is more then enough reason to at least want to have that filled up, if i want to play IR, i also do it where i have the option of all 4 bonuses:)

No offense, but where in this thread did anyone say anything about 32Red having bad bonuses or not being generous?

Because they have great bonuses for an MG, maybe even the best, and their generosity is above par!

Strange that you never got anything, maybe you didn't deposit enough, or asked in the wrong way?

Agree, there is always a bonus game on at 32 red and I've had £32 free chips a couple of times now.

Betsafe however, never ever get a bonus there! That is one thing they're bad at.

Same at Aladdins Gold, if you lose loads there they are very generous with the bonuses, soon as you win something you don't hear from them

Think I have an unlucky account at 32RED , because my experiences with customer support have been subpar.

The bonusgame isn´t for everyone. I don´t get it at 32 red, I´ve never had any other bonus from 32red than the signup years ago. At Golden Lounge and Dash however the daily bonus shows up and therefore I rather play there

Simply log in and play the 22p on a line-adjustable slot like BDBA and get rid of it!

I play most flash because it seems like i am winning more
Another thing is if i play download version i start playing 2-3 games at ones and lose very fast.

Also i have a few laptops in the house so i don't wont to install it on each of them..
yes, slow spinning reels and disconnects are annoying but i still find it more convenient overall...

ecopac, you have to play your balance down to 0 every time you claim bonus then you will not have an issues. that's is annoying too as many games on flash are 254 ways and it takes time to find and open one with less lines.

I have one wish, and that is for the 32red grp to offer INSTANT cashouts to webwallets for VIP/longtime players.

I mean, why not?

I love playing the Flash version of casino games, with no need to download. But on 32Red I can't. As you say it is too much problems.

I do prefer the download versions of me mg casinos.
But the flash versions have some slots which you cant find in download

Money Mad Monkey and Lemuria comes to mind ;) I personally prefer the flash version for exactly that reason. I have experienced some slight lag but nothing really problematic :)

I always do this, it saves the hassle of having to get CS to fix up the claim which delays play.

I tend to stick Adventure Palace to favourites at all MGS casinos for this very purpose.

They have an option to set your pending time to 1 hour, which means payment the next day as soon as they run their batched withdrawals. It's faster than almost every other casino except for those that use true instant processing, rather than running batches at set times.

Instant processing is apparently more expensive than batching.

If you get the Club Rouge invite, the bonus offerings are pretty generous, ranging from 25% to 100%, and often there is at least one offer over 100% during each of their games. You can also "skip game" if you get bored with having to play out the same thing every day knowing that the result is always predetermined.
