Hi - I was lucky enough last month to win the Divine Fortune Progressive Jackpot of £39,000 on a Cassava site and they paid out with no problem. I don't know what the odds are but I then won it again 3 weeks later on VideoSlots site - this time for £133,000! I have always had a great experience with VideoSlots and I don't anticipate the payout being an issue (fingers crossed). My query is that they are now waiting for the game provider to do some checks - I thought it was the casino who paid out (as the jackpot amounts vary by casino?).

Wow, that's amazing. Network wide progressives are paid by the game provider to the casino for distribution to the player. Local progressives (the value is separate on each casino, not pooled), are paid by the casino.

Games, not just progressives, are hosted on servers of the game provider. Very large wins are routinely checked.

If you took a screenshot, we'd love to see it, and here about your plans for your big win.

Congratulations.

Divine Fortune is a localized progressive jackpot taking 3.7.% of each bet, hence, it is paid by the casino not the game provider. But they still have to check whether the hit is legit.

The odds to hit the jackpot are: 1 in 26,854 at max bet which is $100. Anything in smaller bets will decrease the chance, at $1 that would be 1:2,685,400.

Congrats on your win, you could not have won it at a more trustworthy place than Videoslots.

Let's see some screenshots! £133,000 is NOT a jackpot, but compensation for playing the bloody awful game, paid directly by Videoslots. :D

You couldn't have picked a better site than Videoslots, the Casinomeister casino of the year for last 2 years.

You'll have your lolly by the weekend if not before I'd surmise.

Congrats!

Thanks everyone. I didn’t get a screenshot (I was in shock I think). Would I be able to get it by entering the game id anywhere? The first win was on 40p stake and the videoslots win was 80p. Never really liked Divine Fortune but after the first jackpot win thought I’d stick with it (but on a better site). It’s my favourite game now . Once the money comes through am going to be putting down a very large deposit on a house - something that’s only be a dream until now! Hate waiting though .........

Well done , great to hear major good news.

Must be a jackpot money cloud following you around bursting .

If good luck comes in threes , maybe another isn’t far away

Videoslots have a €30k monthly cashout limit for Non-Progressive wins. If Videoslots is liable to pay the winnings and not NetEnt, then they could classify this as a non-progressive win.

If it is deemed a Progressive Win by Videoslots, then this term comes into play:

2.15 When and if, there are jackpot games on the website, an account holder who won a jackpot of more than € 50,000 in the progressive slots, may have to wait up to 30 working days on payment from the time of the jackpot. Account holder can then choose to take out the full jackpot profit, regardless of size.

...The first win was on 40p stake and the Videoslots win was 80p...

Amazingly shocking ! Congrats to you ... guess you must have friend up with a leprechaun without knowing :) haha !
You were asking for the odds, to hit both in a row would be 22,535,541,125,000 but within 3 weeks, still in billions I think !

Yeah, that's interesting ! Divine Fortune slot game is without doubt featuring a progressive jackpot.
But a local progressive one. Just not the one which the provider of the game would pay for the win.

SO just posting an update on this - after a week of communication and initially being asked for my IBAN and BIC details so they could pay it directly into my account I've just been informed that I will have to make monthly withdrawals of £24,600. So it's going to take me about 6 months to receive all my winnings. Am a bit disappointed (although still very very happy with my win) as I had been told it could be paid out in one payment (I was even asked in one e-mail to confirm if I would like it as one payment or in increments).
But - at least I know and can plan accordingly. I still rate Videoslots as the best casino around but I do wish their support was clearer in the way they communicate.

Congrats on both wins.
I would be more than happy to accept 6 monthly payments of 24 grand from a casino you know is one of the best around and you know it will be safe as houses.

Yeah I know - it was just being told I could have it all in one go and then not being able to that was disappointing. I am still very very happy :)

What reason did they give for paying in installments? I'll be honest, I wouldn't be happy with this, it is clearly a progressive Jackpot. I can't see anything in the T&C's that state the payouts are different if its local or networked.
Why only £24600 when the T&C's state £30000?

  • Account holders may only withdraw the maximum amount of £ 30,000 per month, unless a larger amount has been agreed with Videoslots. Then the Account holder is paid an amount of £ 30,000 per month until all winnings has been received.

@Dan.Videoslots @Casinomeister . Operational standards for accredited casinos state

"Must pay out progressive jackpot wins in full or in reasonable chunks, regardless of any terms and conditions limiting payouts.*"

Why is this player being paid less than the stated max payments, stretching a win to over 6 months, for a progressive slot win?

All I can think is that the payments team did not realize it was a win from a progressive game.

Hi,

The Divine Fortune Jackpot is a local progressive Jackpot, which means that the Casino needs to payout the money. However, when it is a network Jackpot it is the provider that will pay it out. I will contact our Payment department to have some more information regarding this situation and get back to you guys.

Br,
Daniel.

Local or network. A progressive jackpot is a progressive jackpot.

Even the game's helpfile states that it's a progressive jackpot, and the contributions to the mega jackpot have already been made by previous players.

I don't think CM makes any distinction between local and network

I would think that unlikely as he was offered the full amount to start with, and doesn't explain why he is being paid less than the max monthly payout :(

There is nothing I can see in your T&C's that allow you to distinguish between a local or network jackpot. Why was he told initially it would be paid out in full, then told it's being paid in installments then at less than what your T&C's say?

Hi,

There was some miscommunication between our departments and that was why we gave out the wrong information the first time, however, I will look into this and keep you updated here.

Br,
Daniel.

In the meantime can you point us towards where it says in the T&C's that you can pay a progressive jackpot out in installments?
