Dating ourselves here but what the hell.

Rolling Stones (3 times, once with Billy Preston joining them), Yes, J.Geils Band, Aerosmith, Willie Nelson, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Grateful Dead, Beach Boys, Boston, Springsteen, Steppenwolf, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, ZZ Top, The Who, Waylon Jennings, Iron Maiden ( I was drunk and would not normally have gone  ), Little River Band, James Taylor, Carol King, and probably a few others. Growing up in Massachusettes we got to see a bunch of them at Boston Garden. Ahhh, the good ole days.

One I always wanted to and regret not seeing was Cat Stevens.

Hi All,

I couldn't resist joining in this thread , it will be the first time in ages I have answered something that is not casino related ;)

Concerts I have attended

Crowded House
Dave Dobbyn
Dire Straits
Midnight Oil
Herbs
And my favorite band which I must have seen at least 20 times in concert
(probably more but I am ashamed to admit I do not remember all of the 80's back in NZ) The Exponents with Jordan Luck

Also saw a fair number of concerts in europe since end 90's but to be honest none can compare with seeing The exponents live in a relatively small NZ venue

Not seen many, well not recently anyway!
Iron Maiden, UFO, Ozzy Osbourne, Madness, Paul McCartney, AC/DC, Gary Glitter, and probably loads more I've forgotten!

Sorry, Iron Maiden is my favourite metal band, but for an entertaining show it has to be AC/DC!!!

I'm going to be Back in Black until I get Thunderstruck!

I am soooooo jealous....only concerts I was never able to get to...and the day that SRV died, I cried. My favourite guitarist, ever, of anyone. Never got to see Zep, but did see Robert Plant a couple of times. I guess seeing The Song Remains The Same about thirty times doesn't count?

My list:

Robert Plant - twice
AC/DC - twice (Back in Black and Hell's Bells)
Black Sabbath
Rod Stewart - four times
Rolling Stones - once at the El Mocambo here in downtown TO
Van Halen - with David Lee Roth, not Sammy Hagar
Rush - numerous times
Triumph - more times than I can remember
Bon Jovi with Skid Row
Beach Boys
Chicago
U2
Pink Floyd (The Wall)
Burton Cummings (solo, not with the Who...the man is simply amazing. You could hear a pin drop during his encore...just him and the piano)
The Who (two farewell concerts)
Bob Seger (after the haircut, lol)
Def Leppard
Meatloaf ( a few times in an arena, and a few times in a large bar venue)
Collective Soul (at the Opera House here in TO, amazing show and venue)
The Cult (at the CNE, what a blast)
Yes
The Scorpions (such a better show than I expected, they are great, amazing lead singer)
Cheap Trick (embarrassed to say I slept out overnight for tickets for this one...I was young and stupid, lol)
Guns n' Roses (surprisingly disappointing, and they were my favourite band at the time...too much sex, drugs and rock n' roll I'm afraid)
Aerosmith (only once, a shame)
George Thorogood (at the old Massey Hall, one of the most rocking shows I've ever seen...and they served booze.....legally, lol)

The only bands I really miss seeing are Zep and Queen...and SRV. I've seen a ton of really great musicians/bands, etc. here in TO when the bar scene was hot...too many to name. Ah, the good old days. Like lots0, I'm sure I've left some off the list as well.

WOW!! lotso, I reckon we could sit and have a few beers together pretty easy.

You like the same things I do, most of the bands you mentioned I like also,

Ok, Ive seen

Ac/dc- ball breaker concert in my home town
Tina Turner
Inner circle, the band that sung "ive been watching you a la la la long"
UB40
A lot of Aussie bands, crowded house, grinspoon, powder finger.
Sytem of a down at the big day out, Korn- bloody awesome show.

But by far ther best concert I have ever seen in my life was tool, that band is SOOOO much better to see live, they put on a amazinig show. Maynard has a great voice.

OHHH, I also saw faith no more years ago, now that was another great day.

You been drinkin'?:D
Burton Cummings= The Guess Who:thumbsup: (have seen and their Greatest Hits CD is a classic)

A lot of the same as others and some not necessarily in concert. Don't think any of these were posted but I was speed reading so will just add a few not mentioned:
1. The Marshall Tucker Band
2. Emerson,Lake, and Palmer with an orchestra. The only concert that ever made my ears ring and hurt:eek:
3. The Outlaws (not Waylon and gang but Green Grass and High Tides)
4. Spyro Gyra
5. Garth and Trisha (social obligation)
6. Neal Diamond
7. Peter Frampton
8. Steve Winwood
9. Plant and Page but never LZ which was always at the top of my list. That and the Masters (still time) are really the only 2 dream events not crossed off.Very blessed!!

First concert (yes my mom was my date, lol) was Three Dog Night:thumbsup:

Still pissed no one saved me a seat and missed The Osmonds.:D:D
